- It seems as though most of our adult patients have recently been asking about Invisalign. People are mainly concerned about the costs because they have done their research before coming in on the process.
First off, let me say the cost is almost always way more expensive than braces. The down payment is also a lot more, but you are getting Invisalign for the look and the ability to move your teeth without braces.

I was quoted $6900 for 25 months worth of Invisaligns. Seemed a little steep. But after listening to you sounds like it’s about right considering the length of time. The ortho may need to do an extraction due to crowding as well.

Mine require 14 trays (7 mths, 2wks per tray) and costs about USD 6,500 with Invisaline (my down payment was 100% lol). Dr. Nate is right, it can get complex and that's because everyone's mouth is different.

My Invisalign was only 3.8k while the braces would’ve costed 5.5k

I am doing Invisalign right now. My treatment coordinator said it should be at least partially covered if I get dental insurance because it is medically necessary. I will be disappointed if the insurance says I am too old.
My dentist said it’ll cost me $8k, I was baffled 😮
What insurance does invisilign accept?
Mine was $6,600 for 14 months but if I decided in 24 hrs they gave me $6,200. So I paid $6,200. ( insurance doesn’t cover )
Hi my son had a baby tooth pulled that hadn't come out and his permanent tooth is still laying sideways up in the gum. Can invisiline do anything to help pull the tooth down into place or will we have to get braces? Thank you so much 😊
I have a slight underbite my two front top teeth are crooked and are behind my bottom teeth when I smile. I’m thinking it’s not gonna take as long to fix it since it’s not all my top teeth. Do you know it’s it gonna be cheaper since it won’t take as long or how does that work?

Your opinion on how long/difficult it would be to close the gaps on the upper teeth. They are not that spaced out probably 1-2mm on specific teeth. No crooked teeth on upper or lower and the bottom teeth are all straight and have no gap issues.
Tough to tell but maybe 6 months?

My Invisalign cost the same as braces. Plus i was offered free whitening so i was sold
Unfortunately my insurance only covered me for invisalign or braces up to 18 years old. So i'll have to pay out of pocket 😔. How many trays do you think this will take to correct an over bite?

My Invisaligns for 15 months was $5.2k, but luckily I have really good dental insurance that knocked off $2k. So it ended up being about $3.2k.

Hey nate, i want to become an orthodontist and im a current senior in high school. i was wondering if you could give me advice on how to ask to shadow an orthodontist. Should i even consider shadowing since they seem so busy because of the virus? should i shadow a dentist first? Should i ask to shadow in person, call, or email? Thanks
Weird my brother's name is Jeremy C! But ya you are in a tough spot. Don't think many offices will take extra people in for a long while because of the virus and how many restrictions there are now. I would start by asking your own dentist and go from there but yes definitely tough times for that right now.

Wow I went to a new dentist and they quoted $11000 to have them on 8montjs to a year to fix my bite smh. My teeth are not even bad.

Hi! I got my braces off over a year ago or so and I didn’t wear my retainers unfortunately :(, but my orthodontist said that my bottom won’t shift at all but my top has. If I just want to close up the spaces at the top and do nothing to the bottom, what’s your estimate of a price range with Invisalign? Any feedback would be great, Thank you!

I’m in the same situation and yet my ortho quoted about $6,300. If my bottom teeth need zero treatment and it’s just a couple small gaps on top from not wearing my retainer, it shouldn’t be the very top of the range like this as though I have insane teeth.
I have had braces for well over 2 years now. My teeth seem fine to me but I’m tired of wearing them. If I got these how much would they be for about 4-6 months?
It won't be worth it. Probably still a couple thousand.
I just have a question about my bite I use to have braces but I happened to lose my retainer and my teeth shifted and now my jaw is literally not lined up with my face it’s kinda sad

Would lingual braces on top teeth and regular braces on bottom be less than invisalign?
Good question but I don't know. I assume it would be more expensive but I don't do lingual braces.
I am starting invisalign in two weeks. Cost is $8k for my teeth. I am going to find a menial job that cover orthodontic treatment so insurance can pay for half of it. Smh.
My invisalign cost me 6000 bit with my insurance they paid 80% plus 50% of the final price which left me with 600 to pay

Clear braces is definitely less than Invisalign but same thing exact price depends on treatment time etc.

Depends on your specific insurance but I would just ask whoever is going to do your ortho as they will look up your specific plan and give you financing options.

Hey doc! I have a minor overbite. My teeth look mostly straight, my top teeth over laps my bottom a lot. I was wondering how much would an Invisalign or braces would cost? Do you think braces would be cheaper or Invisalign? Or do you think I would even qualify?
So tough to tell without doing a real exam but Invisalign will be more expensive.

Why does insurance matter or not? Whatever the price is should be the price. The fact that you guys openly admitted to scamming and raising the price of the work.
Because the insurance company has deeper pockets is ridiculous. Everybody in this dental industry is scamming. Medical insurance doesn't cover its insurance covers one tenth of the cost. It is why most people walk around with terrible dental hygiene because it's a damn Racket. Nothing in the industry is the price off x y z. The dental industry and insurance. Fell deep in the societal cracks. Hasn't kept up with the times at all . Coverage amount is behind about fifty years compared to inflation.

I lost my retainers after 2 1/2 years of braces. My teeth have barely shifted afterwords but my retainers don’t fit snuggly and well anymore (bottom is worse than top-too is almost completely normal just really tight) but I can still get them on. Would the retainers correct it after awhile or should I look into Invisalign ?
