I love that GO Senator! It would be cool if they would make a pale blue version of that dial but with the same grained texture.
I love that AL&S! Squares, rectangles, cushions, and other non-round shapes are great for classical dress watches like that!

Love nkuwan the way you show it! You really focus on showing off the watch. I don't think any other TH-camr can show off watches in as much detail as you.
The GO zero reset minutes hand steals the show. Are rare case of a novel complication/feature that's both useful and aesthetically pleasing.

The more I see of Moritz Grossman, the more I like them. Apart from the overall design and the detail of the finishing, I like the way that they are sticking to a traditional 3/4 plate rather then trying to expose everything in the gear train which seems the current trend. For an independent manufacturer to be successful long term I feel that it has to have it's own identity, if you see a Moritz Grossman movement, there is no doubt who made it.
Tim what are your thoughts on Patek and high end makers using silicone for their hairsprings? It somehow feels wrong to me
Why would that be? Breguet has done tremendous work with silicon-for example the 7727.
One of the few videos I’ve seen where the GO blows the Lange out of the water.
The GO is an understated monument of a watch. You can hear the metallic “ping” of that minute hand jumping in the video. And what on earth is that winding mechanism?? Wow!!

That GS is 11k CAD retail for a half quartz movement with plastic parts. GS have nice finishing, but they have an even better marketing team.
GS doesn’t do much marketing, at least in the US. I know Rolex spent $100M marketing in the US alone (per recent Rolex court filings), did you ever think that’s why you think their machine-made and assembled watches are worth the asking price?
@@JackoWillMakeLives-loveuI know Rolex are worth their price because they have the best value retention on the secondary market, and people ultimately decide somethings worth, while GS has had one of the biggest drops in value on the secondary market over the last year in the industry. In terms of actual quality any fully mechanical movement is better than any quartz. GS only users spring drive because its cheap to manufacture. GS has done alot of marketing in North America, who do you think pays influencers that put up pro GS content.
