Lappeenranta International Air Show 2013 / Vampire pari Suomen väreissä

A pair of Vampire aircraft from 1950's painted in Finnish Air Force colors will perform their air display at the main air show of the Finnish Aeronautical Association in Lappeenranta International Air Show, June 14th to 16th 2013. The Vampire models DH.100 Vampire Fighter and DH.115 Vampire Trainer will celebrate the beginning of the Finnish Air Force jet aircraft era and are the first Vampires in Finnish Air Force markings since 1965.
The first Vampire Fighter jet landed in Finland in January 1953. The Finnish Air Force had six Vampire fighters and nine Vampire Trainers, 15 aircraft in all, between 1953 and 1965
