I’m good with them being more expensive than the All-Stars and the Chuck 70s, if that means there’s no holes/shoe openings that come with wearing All-Stars/70s. Don’t have All-Stars or 70s but want to buy a similar styled canvas shoe that lasts longer the them. Also, I’m a fan of Thursday Boots (the Captains & the Premier Low Tops), so I’ll be scooping a pair of these soon!
Nice review! What I already like from the look of these shoes is that the laces don't look too long. That's one minor thing that always annoyed me about Converses and I always tried to find ways to tuck them away to make it look more "sleek". Like you, I've been taking a whlie to decide on getting a pair or not. Yours look awesome and are only tempting me even more lol!
I have flat, flat feet! But for me they were fine. I don't know how bad your arches are. But I had no problem. I say try them. Perhaps you can get inserts.

I just need some cushion these days. Shoes with a thin sole can be hard on my feet if I’m walking a ton.
