Do you know where I could get a spare key made, cut and programmed for a 2013 Honda CRV for under $50 please let me know. Local locksmiths and the Honda dealership quoted me $150, which is criminal and a piece of shit thing to do for what appears to be a 10 minute job.

The dealer is expensive for duplicting keys with chips inside them. Go to any one of those standalone little battery shops and they will make a duplicate key for half the price of the dealer.

Not a bad price tbh. It may be a 10 minute job but it’s skilled labor so what are you going to do. Also if you do get a CRV key for under 50 (which you will not) it will be unreliable and may lose programming. My advice is stop being cheap and buy the key.
