Tag Restricted vs Tag Open at Indy 800

Me and like 2 other karts were restricted, the rest were open, i was only overtaken by unrestricted karts and even then I was keeping up super well. (my tries were beyond their use by date)

When you are going around the final bend you are going on and off the accelerator try just not doing that and progressing until you can maximise the grip

i couldnt flat out this weekend, the tires really had no grip hahaha

Agreed here, everything else looks spot on! Even if the tires are absolutely dead (they definitely were haha) more so in slower corners, stabbing the throttle kills the inside back tire's lift which is what lets the kart hook and get around without hopping or killing speed. Once the throttle goes on, the kart will want to go straight since its a solid rear axel. Best advice i got was to drive according to the amount of grip. Keep it up mate, looks like you're absolutely killing it :D
