She really *really* is the female Dante. They nailed it so well. He's the pure distilled cheese version of teenage male masculinity. She's the feminine version. It's cheesy in the "so bad that it's so good that it's so bad that it's good again" way. Like heading south and then eventually heading north again, then heading south again, but then eventually reaching the north pole. The apex of cheese. It's that level of bad/good. Like "intro to Commando" levels of "so bad it's good"! Basically perfect.
Kinda hope whatever contract for Bayonetta has on Nintendo allows in future for the second to release on PC and etc. Mind if it doesn't I can understand why given Nintendo funded the franchise when Sega or no one else would. Also the obvious Nintendo theme suits and weapons would have to be taken out if any chance. Again just more curious on contract stipulations than begging. At least I hope Bayonetta 2&3 both get good optimization for next Nintendo system whenever it releases.

I replayed Bayonetta during the summer and just replayed Bayonetta 2 on my Switch a few days ago and finished it💯 having a hard time putting the game down lol, still so much fun, can't wait for Bayonetta 3!
i like how bayonetta just gets you so hyped when the music kicks in
Haven't even watched the video yet but damn right it is. Glad you're drawing attention to it, everyone should play Bayonetta it's amazing
Edit: OOH ITS A GAMEPLAY VIDEO LETS FUCKING GO CHARLIE
I love when Charlie likes a game. Him always saying, “This is so cool,” just feels right, you know?
Learned about this series last year and its honestly one of the greatest series of games I have ever played. Can't wait for Bayonetta 3 in 2022.
"I feel like a fucking celebrity in this town!"

Here after the unfortunate news that Atsuko Tanaka the voice actor of bayonetta has sadly passed away at the age of 61 may her soul rest in peace

The thing about Jackson and Charlie is they inspired me to 100% my favorite games, Recently I started with the Dishonored Series and can't wait to 100% the NieR series and more
That transformation sequence was my childhood awakening.
the way that one boss ends, w you controlling the bullet is so fucking cool
This video got me into the franchise, now I've completed 2 three times.
5:15 - 5:23 Thanks Charlie for this uplifting message!
Maybe the only reason Dante is still single is because his universe hasn't overlapped with Bayonetta's.
come on bayo 3!! give it to us in a form of a reference or SOMETHING!!
Bayonetta was the first hack and slash i played and this game just does everything right. Visual, characters, combat, and the soundtrack. All of it god teir. I havent found a game just like it ever. Im so gld nintendo picked it up and continued it.
This is the greatest video about Bayonetta being a masterpiece of all time

I’m such a huge Bayonetta fan and I’m so glad you played the game! I’m so happy rn
are those glasses prescription? cuz if so thats just great character building honestly. like this ancient beautiful super powered gun wielding hair suit witch has an astigmatism lol
Nah, but there's a funny story behind it. Kamiya felt that there weren't many game protagonists with glasses so he insisted on Bayonetta wearing one at all times. The execs refused it at first but had to give in after some time. In turn, Kamiya, as the absolute mad chad that he is, gave every single character in the game glasses (maybe except Luca). The man is a goddamn legend.
@Bergonath no Luka has a pair of glasses too
@@Anomalyundetected Nice, that means everyone has glasses.
@@bergonath8851 that rocks
These games are incredible. 2 is one of my all time favourite games.
@Joshua EdwinRoehl ?
The cutscenes in this game are great, the first time I played I couldn't believe it was a Nintendo exclusive with how sexualized it is. I was cracking up throughout the whole thing.
That would be Bayo 2 but still yeah
@@King_Dragmire I still gotta get around to playing that, I'll have to check if it's on PC
@@Creeper_ofDoom I was astonished.
I can't wait for bayonetta 3 I loved bayonetta 1 and 2 when I played them on the switch
Same
Welp, time for my own replay
Amog us Fuel
Give me $50,000
Holy shit its John Gfuel himself
I literally just bought Bayonetta on steam like a week ago, I've beaten normal mode and holy fuck is this game a MASSIVE BANGER.
I swear to god Bayonetta is one of the best Hack and Slash games to exist.
Loving all the bayonetta appreciation!
Fun fact: Bayonetta's design took a year of designing to reach its final version :D There are short documentaries of the creators talking about how they created Bayo, theyre on youtube
A year well spent if you ask me 😤
Good sister Bayonetta will end the coronavirus once and for all.
Bayonetta is basically just Devil May Cry if it has a sexy female protagonist, and I am not complaining
Didn’t expect Charlie to play Bayonetta but I’m all for it
Edit: hopefully you play Bayonetta 2 and 3 when it comes out
Loved this game. One of the few games in recent memory that I actually wanted to complete. My girlfriend tried it out to see what it was like....she was disappointed to say the least...for reasons.
My only issue with this game while I replayed it was how dark and brown the setting always was. It felt like I was playing assassins creed 1. But everything else in the game made it worth going colorblind
There is no chance he finishes the lost chapter and actually does the 100%

Bayonetta is definitely a game that’s like no other.
Bayonetta and Bayonetta 2 always have been masterpieces. Now we have Bayonetta 3 coming soon.
This is giving me memories of Charlie's run of the Pepsi Man mod, for Metal Gear Rising: Revengance.
Ah yes
Bayonetta
My favorite sapphic love story
The thumbnail looks like bayonetta finally got into the moist verse
Boy, you're making me wanna play this game again. Even now it's simply full of personality.
Like that ending cinematic for the second boss, that grunt of disappointment when the fire trail stopped? Chef's Kiss worthy, that.
Kind of a coincidence that Ive also gone back to playing bayonetta after a while. Seems all bayonetta fans have been simultaneously deciding to replay the games again
I became a fan not too long ago.
Finally gave the game a try over a decade after its release and I wish I would have done that sooner.
Thanks for playing Bayonetta, this game is a timeless masterpiece and It makes me happy that people is still playing it
Minus the terrible Quicktime events this game is a masterpiece, so excited for the 3rd game, a shame about her voice actress though
Bayonetta 2 is def worth playing. It's just as good, in my opinion
Great sequel, I feel like the bosses weren't as good in 2 but the weapons were definitely cooler
If he ever plays Ōkami, I would just about cry. I know he would love it
Edit: 16:01 to 16:37 there’s the big reference to Amaterasu’s divine face markings!
Honestly I would love it, but I feel like the game would be too sappy and contain too much dialogue for him. Doesn't seem like his taste. That's just pure speculation though.
You play as a dog and draw shit so tbh that should be enough reason to play it imo.
I’m so glad Moist Man loves my favorite series.
Bayonetta is just so artistically beautiful and fun.
did you mean moist man or most men?
1:48 After that point of the game I already knew it was a masterpiece
She really *really* is the female Dante. They nailed it so well.
He's the pure distilled cheese version of teenage male masculinity.
She's the feminine version.
It's cheesy in the "so bad that it's so good that it's so bad that it's good again" way. Like heading south and then eventually heading north again, then heading south again, but then eventually reaching the north pole.
The apex of cheese.
It's that level of bad/good.
Like "intro to Commando" levels of "so bad it's good"!
Basically perfect.
And charlie does his thing while the moistverse expands faster than lightspeed
How did I never see this game before? It looks like a banger.
I hate how my notifications won't actually work so I have to manually see if he uploaded, otherwise I'll be like a week late
Lmaooo , my PS4 just broke and watching your vids are helping me keep cool
7:48 this is the greatest gaming sense of all time
Bruh i expected humans
Was not expecting this vid, absolutely love this game, one of my fave franchises and my fave female game protag!
2:10 charlie just turns into a very delighted child on christmas morning and so did i👌
Never would I see the day that Charlie would talk about bayonetta
Kinda hope whatever contract for Bayonetta has on Nintendo allows in future for the second to release on PC and etc. Mind if it doesn't I can understand why given Nintendo funded the franchise when Sega or no one else would. Also the obvious Nintendo theme suits and weapons would have to be taken out if any chance. Again just more curious on contract stipulations than begging.
At least I hope Bayonetta 2&3 both get good optimization for next Nintendo system whenever it releases.
