No college in India other than Gen 1 IITs is equivalent to BITS Pilani. One of my junior secured AIR 3000 this year in JEE Adv but chose BITS Pilani CSE over CSE in IIT Gandhinagar and IIT Ropar. Go for BITS Pilani if you are getting it.
It might sound controversial, but Yeh Private Colleges hi toh hai Jo uss average student ko jagah dete hai, jo apne skill base pe aage badna chahta hai, no matter ROI kitna hi kharab kyu na ho but, Atleast tumhe trending and demanding field ki kuch toh knowledge milegi. And also... Practically it's not possible for everyone to get into top notch college, So, India me ek major portion apne dream college se compromise karke hi JEE raha hai 🙂🙂

I totally agree with what he said, placement here is fantastic, if you want better clg life, placements, infra etc, then welcome ! Fees is on higher side, its 18Lakhs (including all fees and im sure it will increase for k24s).

I will say if you get Cse in BIT Patna then ONLY it makes sense, rest I think are waste of money, rather you should take admission in any other private clg cse, since you'll get no placements, feel discrimination from main campus students(as I heard from 'em) . BIT Mesra 2022 CSE and IT median after all placements were over was calculated to be 18LPA and avg 23LPA, told by the college during Student Induction Program. Total fees is 17.5 lakhs (hostel and mess included) but college also provided a permanent HP ProBook 10 laptop of 69k MRP to all BTech and IMSC students.

I can say this after getting placed that Thapar University still have great placements but they should also focus on not increasing the student intake further to maintain very good average and median package.
Rvce has even better placements that what is shown (24 lpa avg for cs and 96 lpa highest ) , the only issues here are the huge amount of management quota and reservation students and also campus is a bit small . Edit : one more thing comedk fees is 10 lakhs not 14

Then , how a student from a tier 3 college nowadays is able to crack companies like microsoft,amazon,google,meta,samsung,ibm etc. And if these colleges are not good as discussed in the video then you(ritik Meghwani) and govt. of india should establish new IIT'S in every city of india so that every student will get equal amount of good education which is totally impossible . Hello I did not get 75% aggregate in PCM this year, and I'll have to give improvement in all the subjects to be eligible for BITS as per their brochure. If I give one improvement exam this July, and the remaining 4 next year, will I be eligible? Or will I have to give improvement in all subjects next year only? And if I don't get more than 60% in English and my optional subject, will BITS take into account my previous marks? Or will BITS consider only the improvement exam marks in all the subjects? Someone please clarify. 🙏🏼 I'm so confused and scared. I don't know what to do now.

Bhaiya I am a first year student of bits pilani goa campus, bits me 4 saal ka total fees 30-35 lakh hai and 5 saal ka close to 40 lakh.. but yeah placement, college life, alumni network, college tag and other things are top notch..
4 saal ki 27.XX lakhs and 5 saal ki 33.XX according to a spreadsheet shared by a BITS group who did total calculation so please refrain from adding your personal expenses and overestimation
I can confirm that Thapar has surely increased its student intake. My friend got 90 percent in Punjab Board but got 70 percentile in jee and still he got cse in thapar😂😂😅😅😅

Calculate the ROI of the guy who got 1.8 cr in Amazon(Dublin) in 2022 from JADAVPUR UNIVERSITY, who paid 10k fees+ COVID ke chalte 2 saal ke fees bhi maaf ho Gaye thei, This year many colleges are suffering in placements due to recession, 20 percent students are placed in VIT VELLORE,in 23-24 batch ,still there wasn't a drastic affect here in JU, one guy from ETCE dept got 85lpa this year in midst of such recession, and top 5 branches have a median > than 15lpa

Jadavpur University has 80% reserves for us (West bengal student) 2. We dont compete with 20 lakh students in the shit fucking jee exam(s). 3. There is SBI Scholar Educational Loan Scheme, check it out in detail, If you get admission in top engg cllgs like primary IITs, BITS P, IIIT H then you'll be eligible for the highest category of benefits (AA), like high loan amount and lesser interest, Theres total 4 categories, AA, A, B, C, covering almost all well known & govn. engg cllgs
The most important thing is don't even think about placement and placement data. Just ensure college has got good infrastructure and good hostels and them the most important thing is fees choose the college with less fees. Trust me once you go to college you will not be talking about placements but infrastructure and hostels.

You missed one point for BITS Pilani VS IIITH, BITS places 3000+ students across three campuses with Single Dual and all types of branches Even Single MSc peeps also sit for undergraduate placements and still the Median is 18.2 LPA which i would say is impressive than IIITH which places much lower number and only in IT field

I did not get 75% aggregate in PCM this year, and I'll have to give improvement in all the subjects to be eligible for BITS as per their brochure.
If I give one improvement exam this July, and the remaining 4 next year, will I be eligible? Or will I have to give improvement in all subjects next year only?
And if I don't get more than 60% in English and my optional subject, will BITS take into account my previous marks? Or will BITS consider only the improvement exam marks in all the subjects?
Someone please clarify. 🙏🏼

Bhaiya I am a first year student of bits pilani goa campus, bits me 4 saal ka total fees 30-35 lakh hai and 5 saal ka close to 40 lakh.. but yeah placement, college life, alumni network, college tag and other things are top notch..
4 saal ki 27.XX lakhs and 5 saal ki 33.XX according to a spreadsheet shared by a BITS group who did total calculation so please refrain from adding your personal expenses and overestimation

The most important thing is don't even think about placement and placement data.
Just ensure college has got good infrastructure and good hostels and them the most important thing is fees choose the college with less fees.

There is no more GREAT CODING CULTURE in the college LNMIIT, infact the tech clubs in the college is dead. And placements are also not good as of now, it's a festival for students when they get to know a company is coming to recruit { a student from lnmiit}
You missed one point for BITS Pilani VS IIITH, BITS places 3000+ students across three campuses with Single Dual and all types of branches Even Single MSc peeps also sit for undergraduate placements and still the Median is 18.2 LPA which i would say is impressive than IIITH which places much lower number and only in IT field
