Some of his best music was during that time......"Love Coming Down" is wonderful and he recorded it in 1976! I saw him July 31, 1976 and he was great!!
I don't know how much longer EPE can keep doing this since many of the key figures are no longer living or are committed to other projects. I saw this show at its inception in 1998 when the full crew (Aside from JD) was present. That was pheonomonal!
That is a shame! He had to be there! 16 aug must be free and not on tour with Neil! It was the last Elvis Concert they say? So everybody has to be there!
I wish they would include footage post 1973. It's as if Priscilla and the organization are ashamed of Elvis in the later years! 1976 New Year's Eve....outtakes from the 1977 CBS special could have been used. ELVIS still had it!! But I guess they are afraid of somehow tarnishing Elvis's image by showing him bloated and ill. Devoted fans like myself are loyal no matter what!
