Bike and hike to Sgùrr Chòinnich and Sgùrr a'Chaorachain from Craig, near Achnashellach. Music by Amarel - • Ambient House Mix 1 by... Solo Hike #hiking #scotland #munro
A home from home for me , Andy. My son used to own a house in Strathcarron and for about 10 years I spent as much time as possible there. Was up this track many times. Used to be a locked gate on it and I remember struggling to get my bike over it. However I can’t remember the rope bridge....looks interesting. I think I might have forded it further upstream. Many happy memories of the glencarron hills. For once, it looks as if the weather gods weren’t with you this time !
Yeah, turned out a bit cloudy that day, a nice walk though. Had a bit of a wobble on the rope bridge. When it's quite dry it's easy enough just to walk over the river there I think, and you can jump it a bit further up where it splits and narrows which I did on the way back down. Cheers.
No like you to walk in the clag. 😉 Did these today and had a similar day. In the clag and rain and windy. Waterfalls were impressive. I came across them today by accident. Knew they where marked on the 1.50 map, but I notice the walk highlands route takes you away from them.
Aye, it was a wet one. The forecast was for it to clear up too, but didn't turn out that way. Waterfalls were a highlight in that weather, especially that last section.
Love the music as well!
Just seen the gate !
Great bike footage !!
👍
