i had dali zensor 1 and now i upgraded to oberon 3, i listen high quality flac music on Denon DRA 100. Sound is amazing but i start thinking about Opticon 1 mk2 or 2 mk2 cause they have 4ohms so they could be perfect for my new Denon😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
Hah. I bought a pair of Opticon 6 just last week. And now the mk2 series comes... MK2 looks nicer for me. But I think there won't be a huge difference in sound performance 😛
In terms of the MK2 looking better aesthetically with the matt finish, i have to respectfully disagree. I have the MK1, and the finish on these are very nice indeed. A big step up from the IKON range. The MK2 front facia looks like an attempt at manufacturing cost reduction :(

Hi, with this enhancement of Opticon MK2 series, will the Opticon 8 MK2 able to narrow the performance/sound quality gap against the Rubicon 8?
Considering all these upgrades, how far is the opticon mk2 series from the older rubicon series?
There is another sound profile in the RUBICON series when comparing. You also have to consider finishes and cabinet.

I got the MK1 opticon 6 just 3 weeks ago. Feels bad. I like the new design without the cheap silver plate on it.
