Why is Cuba such a hive of creativity? I head to Havana to meet some of its artists

What is Cuba like for artists? This year (2015) Havana marked its 12th Biennial art festival. I travelled to Cuba to meet some of the artists and find out about what life is like for them, as well as the changes that are coming now that Cuba is opening up.
At graphic design studio Taller Serigrafía René Portocarrero, Cuban and American artists exchanged ideas and responded to each other's cultures using their country's famous cartoon characters, in a project entitled "Happy Together". I went to the exhibition's opening to interview artist Yainiel Martinez.
