I work at McDonald's drive thru and i always am super nice to customers, always have a smile, and i always go out of my way to make the experience better for them. It's all about your mindset and how much you actually care about the people you're serving. I care a whole lot, and i try to show that daily.
I’m 17 and I’ve worked at Chick-Fil-A for over a year now, and I can confidently say that it is probably the best starter job I could have gotten! Everyone is so nice there and the management treats you so well! One time I was 50 full minutes late for work because I got my shift starting time mixed up with the previous day, and when I arrived and apologized, they said it was totally ok! If you are looking for a starter job, I definitely recommend working at Chick-Fil-A!

@@StefanzoBro I'm also a Chickfila employee (17). They mostly ask about yourself, how you see yourself in the future, and why you would want to work at Chickfila. They want you to appear as a helpful, serving citizen willing to work the best and hardest to serve the customers and treat everyone as an angel would. I've loved working at Chickfila so much and it's honestly the best place I've ever had the opportunity to work.

As a worker at a Chick Fil A myself this is nothing compared going to a location with a bigger housing space for more customers and a double decker drive thru. You are busy non-stop. But it's a great establishment and I love all the managers and fellow coworkers. Been working for over a year and half there and it was a great first job.

Always respect anyone who works in food service. It's a hard job that is often not appreciated. People can be thankless. Andrew did a 24-hour shift which is really tough but for the people around him this is just another day. They went in the next day and the day after that and the day after that. Good on them.
Yeah what's funny about that is, when you finally escape a job like this. Every other job is easy as hell. Seriously, restaurant business is the hardest job out there. Constantly got to be on the move.
It can also be one of the most fun, exciting, and rewarding jobs. Time flies, there's never a dull moment, and you work with some of the craziest, most interesting people around. Plus there's nothing like that feeling you get when you cook for someone and make them happy doing so. Food and cooking is one of the few things that transcends all cultures and brings us together. To be a part of that, to be the person that brings people together to share a common experience is beautiful.
Of course this goes all out the window when serving fast food to some lonely fat ass. No beauty in that.

nah. most chickfilas have very good management. my chickfila is top 5 busiest in the country and i never have a problem with their service.

worked at a chick fil a for 3 years. they are extremely strict about cleanliness in pretty much the whole resteraunt. At the one i worked at, bathrooms were checked every 15-30 minutes (15 if busy, 30 if not), and especially when it came to the cooks, they had to be constantly washing hands and swapping gloves between tasks

Bonjour.Bella today was my fourth day working there, and the only tips I can give you is don't panic when something bad happens, and don't let the first day overwhelm you:)
I worked a year and a half through my last couple years of college (left for an office job at graduation). It's a wonderful place to work, especially if you have a great team working with you. They are very flexible and understanding with your schedule. You still get unpleasant guests, but it's not as bad as some clientele (or maybe that's because my store was in a nicer shopping center, I don't know). Either way, I count my blessings and thank God I was able to work there instead of other places I could have worked closer to home. And listen to Mackenzie too! Don't be afraid to reach out if you do get on and need some advice from veterans (although you'll probably have the best advisors at your store :-) )

@@bludika yes the pay is decent, it's minimum wage to start but my boss gave us all raises once a year. And he treated us to some nice outings once in a while. It's not somewhere I'd want to rely on for full time income permanently, but it's a great place to get your feet under you

I think the best part of this video was how normal it was. It didn't try to be extreme or over the top in it's presentation. It was just a typical view inside what it would actually be like to work at Chick-fil-A for 24. No theatrics, no gimmicks, exactly what I expected.

I worked at Chick Fil A back in 1981-1982 school year. I had to quit to go to college. Best family I ever worked for. We were tight and our GM had us all over to his house for Christmas. Just amazing. Am still in touch with all of my CFA buds!!

You can have a handily flexible schedule/working hours that you can fit around other commitments; great for students, those with childcare commitments. How about that?
It is an amazing job. I started there at 16 and have been there for 4 years now while in HS and college. Everyone’s nice, service is great, they inspire you to be great, they pay well, they’re respectful of your schedule. I couldn’t have asked for a better first job.

24 hour shifts are normal in that line of work, I'd rather be working the 24 hours then do with nothing like security. At least then staying awake is 10x easier. When I worked security during winter I'd get cold intentionally by going into the snow, just to stay awake.

There is one near my town, which is actually good, but I worry that if Chick Fil A goes too big their values will decline. They should try and keep it in the South, from Virginia.

I used to work at a Chick-Fil-A at Texas. Just like any other job it's got its ups and downs. It gets insanely packed at times, and because of that your shift can go by fast, but with that being said, you're gonna end up doing A LOT of work. It sucks that you get paid almost minimum wage for this job. I say it's better to work at a place that has less people, than to work here. They're super strict with everything too. And if you work in the front, you WILL end up dealing with some bitchy customers, regardless of how nice you are lol. The kitchen is probably the worst position. You'll be working your ass off non stop and get paid just as much as everybody else. Successful company, but I don't know if I'd recommend it. Probably better off somewhere else.

Dude half of my coworkers at chick-fil-a are lgbt+, and the staff does not really care. They're really nice about it, and don't really try to bring it up ever. At least that's at our location. So.. literally. Just because it's a Christian owned establishment does not mean it's automatically 'homophobic'.

I’m a 5, and my brothers are 6 and 7.) If it’s up to a 4, it probably won’t affect you because they’re a not that much peanut being used, but I don’t eat it because I don’t want to take the chance of having an allergic reaction.

I got a grill position at ruby Tuesday this summer making $12 an hour. Fuck chick Fil a. Always strive for something better
