The 4th ending song was sang by mayu maeshima which is the former lead singer for MYTH & ROID band (the band for the first and second ending songs) and damn her voice is very beautiful... She also sang the first ending but not the second ending
Ainz is the main character in a sense but Overlord ties in side characters pretty deeply, the light story actually has many scenes centered on the gaurdians of "The Tomb of Nazarick" Edit: The art in the endings is done by the artist for the light novels.

L.L.L. (The season one ending theme) is by Myth & Roid. I like to call it the yandere national anthem-just read the lyrics! It’s pretty much Albedo singing about how much she loves Ainz and how she would kill the world and her own potential futures for him.
Personally, I feel the Yandere National Anthem is found at the end of Season 4, a complete Disney Princess song and dance number from Princess Renner herself. But it's certainly a close toss-up.
myth&roid is one of the best (imo) japanese bands that does openings and osts for anime. I really like the openings for re:zero, the overlord songs and other of their stuff.
Mayu Maeshima is the original singer for Myth & Roid and was the singer for the band for Overlord Opening 3 and Ending 1 and 2. She then went solo and did overlord ending 3. Myth and Roid is still producing great music with their new singer. They just did the ending for made in abyss season 2 which has some of the best music I heard but those songs arent used in the opening but inside the episode. I recommend those songs from Kevin Penkin like hanezeve caradhina from made in abyss season 1
She was the first vocalist of MYTH&ROID but only for the first ending LLL. Ending 2 I believe she did not sing, that was KIHOW (the second vocalist who already sung some songs in the first album "eyes."). Opening 3 for sure is KIHOW. ^^ But glad to hear Mayu return to Overlord :)
Yes, Mayu Maeshima is a Japanese singer, but she’s fluent in English, which is why she transitions seamlessly between Japanese and English in her songs. Fun fact - she used to be the lead singer of Myth and Roid, who did the female-led OPs and EDs of this series.
@@RaginCanadian-gx2zl in the Myth & Roid Wikipedia page it states she's a "past member" that left in 2017. Her own personal Wikipedia page says the same and was when she started her own solo career.
As one anime youtuber once said "It's good to be anime fan now". He said this phrase in different context with a little bit different meaning but to me being an anime fan is being able to have a whole world of shows of almost every genre you can imagine, to hear songs that really slaps and to discover some hidden diamonds in new shows. Anime is a rabbit hole and there is no escape from it. You can literally watch some anime because you heard only an opening and discover great show. Sometimes you are giving a try to a show that nobody cares about and falls in love with it. Sometimes you watch some hype show only to get disappointment of it. Sometimes you just watch Made in Abyss and never sleep again (You should check the whole playlist of this show, Kevin Penkin did a great job writing it). You just never know what you are gonna get by pressing play button. Anime is a world that almost everyone can get some shows that they will love. There are so many shows worth watching.
Weakest Tamer Goes On A Journey To Pick Up Trash is absolutely PEAK but I see no one talk about it. It's my fav anime last season and everyone should watch it to ep 6 at least. I can't go on if I was in her shoes ngl
Because you seem confused about protagonists I'll clarify some things: protagonist is the main character that the story follows opposite of that is the antagonist which is the opposing character or adversary. So in a story whoever it primarily follows is the protagonist and who ever opposes that character is the antagonist there is no moral alignment concerning protagonist and antagonist. This is something that confuses some people who think the protagonist is the good guy/hero and the antagonist is the bad guy/villain. The protagonist is just the main character and the antagonist is whoever opposes them. In Overlord Ainz(the skeleton guy) is the protagonist but he is also the villain.
Overlord is an interesting show to react to. Having said that: - Hunter x Hunter Opening and its endings. Yes this one has one opening with different visuals while the Endings are vastly different. - Fate series ops and eds. Zero and Unlimited Blades Work are the easiest ones to find. - Re:Zero has interesting ones as well. - Shakugan no Shana ops and eds as well as Magi ops and eds. Underrated and older shows for sure but their music are bangers.
To answer your question, the singer of the 4th ending is Maeshima Mayu and she was once the vocalist for Myth&Roids, who also makes songs which became openings/endings for Overlord. And if I'm not wrong, or mixed it up with someone else, Mayu is half-Japanese and lived many years (or still does) in the States. I never heard what an Irish English accent sounds like though, so I don't know about that. Edit: I don't know if "Date A Live" is your cup of tea, but the openings and endings are amazing. The Anime has 4 Seasons, with the 5th coming in the future.
I googled her and nothing state that she's mixed. Plus she literally look full Japanese to me. She has some similar vibe to Mina from Twice in my opinion.
Definitely think you mixed her up with KIHOW, who is the current lead singer of Myth & Roid and was the vocalist for Hydra (ED 2) and VORACITY (OP 3). While I didn't find anything about her saying she's mixed, she did live abroad for a while and can sing in both Japanese and English. Listen to the full version of Hydra, KIHOW's got two parts of full spoken English lines you don't get to hear in the cut down ending. The ED for Episodes 3-11 of season 2 was basically the full first 1m27s of the song. Episode 1 where the song was being played during the show at the end, and the ED of Episode 2, was the intro and first verse spliced with the second pre-chorus into the first chorus. In the full version of the song, the first bridge and KIHOW's first spoken English lines start at 1m28s. The song is a full 4m51s long. Near the end of Episode 12 we get almost the full song playing in the BG, but they spliced out the first bridge and KIHOW's first set of spoken English lines. Also listen to VORACITY, KIHOW's got a lot of English lyrics in that one.
@@C-S-J no need to tell me, I have Myth&Roid in my Playlist for years already. But it seems I mixed KIHOW and Mayu about the living in the states thing. Sorry about that.
What I love about the Overlord OP and ED is also the visuals. The OPs have the anime art style (which is pretty close to the manga style) while the EDs follow the LN art style. This way you get to sample both styles.
@@MarcLucksch ReZero ED1, ReZero insert song and... That's it pretty much. L.L.L. is like half hit half miss in itself, so I guess it's a perfect representation of the band.
All I can say is that if an anime makes it to a 3rd season it's likely damn good. Overlord has 4 despite not having the budget of 90% of other 4+ season anime which get by on mostly graphical quality so you can hazard a guess as to how good the characters and story are in overlord. The graphics aren't bad. just not orgasmic like in shows such as Demon slayer or My hero academia when shit picks up. You should seriously watch it.
@@8TDK bro you really used one of the worst examples like SAO, in the latest SEASONS the animation in itself carries so hard that it beats most mainstreams animation by miles on league with demon slayer and fate. The sound effects are also on par with Fire Force, the story aint even that bad later on compared to 75% of the animes in the world.
If you want to hear an amazing soundtrack i recommend listening to the soundtrack of the anime "86 Eighty-Six" composed almost totally by Sawano, IT'S AMAZING!
Keep pushing the recommendation for "Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works" Openings, especially the OP2 (Aimer - Brave Shine) th-cam.com/play/PLSEoGpRPA4UgrAizvFa9DDZ1IfKZ44Nmj.html
If you want to try a sample of Overlord, to see what it's like, I recommend doing more than 1 episode. Do at least two, as the first ends mid-scene, where the second picks it right up, it's basically a two-parter. Most series have a "3 episode rule", where you need 3 episodes to get a good feel for what the series is about; I'd say Overlord has a 4 episode rule because of the two-parters. As it establishes the world and character's personalities over the course of the first few, but it isn't until the end of the 4th that you get the driving theme for the story and future character growth, humor, and conflicts. And no, this isn't just me trying to get the whole series by inches.... mostly. Edit: I said 5 episodes, I should have said 4.
@@DreamApostle128 well, yes; but also; I think if someone stops after one episode they legitimately get the impression it's a very different kind of show. Even if we don't get a reaction series, I would seriously still recommend it. It seems right up his alley.
@@Scarabswarm Yeah very true after that comment I went back and rewatched overlord and the first episode is just not complete after the 4th episode it starts to roll
Protagonist just means main character of a story and antagonist is someone who opposes the main character. A protagonist can be viewed as a villain and the person opposing them, no matter how much of a good person that are, they'll be the antagonist. There's actually a lot of fictional media where the main character is actually the villain. The skull guy is indeed the main character. Also: Myth&Roid 1&2nd ending OxT 3rd ending Mayu Maeshima (Former lead vocalist for Myth&Roid) 4th ending
Thanks for making that clear to others. I've always loved villain mc's over good guy mc's so it always annoyed me when the protagonist is called the antagonist just because they are evil
@@tehrickles1447 Anti-hero is something completely different, that's a term used for heroes who doesn't have any usually heroic quality. Protagonist literally just means main character why do people always associate them with always being the good guys.
@@Sinbad_Deity The definition of Antihero reads as such. "A central character in a story, movie, or drama who lacks conventional heroic attributes." While protagonist is "the leading character or one of the major characters in a drama, movie, novel, or other fictional text." Both are correct, but I personally feel antihero suits him better.
@@tehrickles1447 If you call him an antihero he'll still be a protagonist no matter what there's no contradiction between the two terms a character can be both. Whether they are a hero, villain, antihero, antivillain ect if that are the main character they'll still be the protagonist.
Albedo, the one you see everywhere, is an important character, but she's also something of the poster girl for the show. A lot of the official imagery for the show centers on her over the main character.
Go for RE:ZERO OP and ED This show have legit some of the best ones out there You should like it since Myth&Roid (band of the first ED of overlord) have done some OP and ED
@@GOTGames Re: Zero OP 2(Longshot) done by Mayu Maeshima (formerly of Myth & Roid who did Voracity, LLL etc) and that singer you loved in the 4th Overlord ED. Great voice
This show is super artistic everything flows together like a harmony. Intro to show to outro to post credit outros to ending the show during the middle. Every scene is super important bc it's covering 3 LNs per season u have to watch. It's a binger
i just think its impressive we are season 4 and OxT and Myth&Roid have done every song i love it. season 4 ending is just mayu in her solo career rather than myth&roid but it still counts.
There's a funny AF version of that first ED song sung by the actresses that play the Pleiades (the battle maids you would have seen in OP2&3). its on TH-cam under "Overlord ED Pleiades version". A protagonist is effectively just the main character of a show, they aren't necessarily 'the good guy', but they are who you follow in a story. Ains (the skeleton guy) is the protagonist, but I would not call him a good guy. The show is named 'Overlord' after all. This show is very different from anything else I've ever watched, I would highly recommend it. The reason the succubus girl would have come up the most is two fold. She's basically the poster child/mascot of the show, plus hot anime waifu (so yes, fan favourite lol).
Watching with u all these songs gave me chills. A lot of animes start playing the ending while the anime is still going to make it more dramatic and when u listen after it the song give more impact
First time found this channel today i am a huge anime fan and considering i watched like 20 your vids today i would say this anime is the vibes u said u looking for and is real different :)
Overlord for sure is a MUST watch. Its as others have stated, one of the best of this type of story, which means it doesn't really fall into the normal trends that most others of its type keep repeating and is a very refreshing take on this genre. I will say the book dives in way deeper then the anime and is a great read.
consider the intro/outro songs to set the tone for the theme of the story through each story. Overlord is a massive world building anime that you have to pay attention to the emotional tones, which I think is set by the intro/outro.
I really love the third one. Not only It fits perfectly with the story and the main character (the litch/ the sorcerer king) but It also hits me in a very personal level.
Same, I just finished S4, and the Half Elf God-kin arc in the novel. So now I wanna re-read the whole novel and re-watch the anime while I wait for the Holy Kingdom movie, and the Theocracy LN tomes to come out. But I still have about 8 other books in my "to-read" list before I get to that, and I might also give The Lord of The Rings a re-read in between because a friend of mine is reading it for the first time and I want to discuss it with him. And after all that there's the Witcher series, Game of Thrones, Narnia and a bunch of classics I've still haven't got around to read. thinking about adding the Berserk manga to that already long list :(
I love Skulduggery Pleasant, grew up reading them, got basically every book on my bookshelves and I've never heard anyone else mention them before! Such a great series (maybe less so the latest ones, but still)
Overlord show has its ups and downs, especially for the bad CGI in season 3, but it remains one of my favorite shows. The light novel is gorgeous, the best I've ever read, and the anime, despite not being up to par, is a great show.
I don't mind the cgi, even attack on titan isn't perfect even when it wasn't using that much cgi, and tbh I don't notice the cgi that much, yeah its there but then again the cgi parts only comprise like 10% of the show and I can bear with that, and most of those scenes where for the massive army and good for them for choosing the easy route to render entire armies using cgi than go through the hassle of having to draw each soldier and go through the painstaking process of having to copy paste just for some normies who know nothing on animation to nitpick about it, like bruh we ain't watching gundam or trigger studios, we watching overlord which is made along other isekai animes like saga of tanya the evil and etc. animators gotta cut some slack they don't get paid enough to make every episode like a ghibli movie they ain't makoto shinkai, plus the details on every character and background is already insane the world building of yggdrasil is massive and they have to draw all that detail down they don't have time to draw details on each individual warrior from different races in an army scene, the show is intricate thus it was necessary to use cgi so they can put out more episodes for you ungrateful f*cks
1st and 2nd endings are performed by Myth&Roid who also perform 3rd opening of this anime, 3rd is performed by OxT who perform 1st, 2nd and 4th openings, 4th ending is performed by ex vocalist of Myth&Roid Mayu Maeshima
Straight up mentions two bands with dead singers that makes my heart hurt. R.I.P. 2 absolutely amazing singers that changed and left impressions in others lives.
The third Opening and the first 2 Endings of Overlord are all by Myth&Roid, while the third Ending and first 2 Endings are by OxT. Both bands are actually just 2-person units, each made up of a singer and a composer/instrumentalist. Fun fact: the composer/instrumentalist for both groups is the SAME GUY, Tom-H@ck, who is one of the bigger names in anime music composing, though his name is rarely on the front of bands, which makes his part in OxT pretty cool since the group name is an acronym for both members' stage names (with an x separating them). Also you and I are definitely on the same page with the 3rd Ending having a similar sound to New Divide! As someone who's a big fan of a handful of Linkin Park's music, I always get that same feeling whenever Silent Solitude comes on. My recommendations for next anime opening reactions are Re:Zero, Re:Creators, and Bleach. These 3 anime all have great soundtracks that you'll definitely appreciate, though Bleach will definitely be on the longer side as it's one of those really long-running anime with over a dozen openings (literally 13 of them)
Seconding for Bleach intro/opening reactions. The OST alone is pretty damn solid. I like the industrial start to "Be my Friend" for another recent anime opening.
@@milesprower6110 I haven't watched through S4 yet so I couldn't say anything on that, but after fact checking to make sure I was correct I can confirm that yes OxT did the S4 OP, you're correct there, but the S4 ED was NOT by Myth&Roid, it was by Mayu Maeshima.
The protagonist is the people we follow, they can be good or bad, and the antagonist is the person who opposes the protagonist. So good and bad do not have an effect on what they are
You gotta do the reaction for Overlord from season 1. The pilot episode is a little boring but it will pick up in the later episodes. Just watch and enjoy it 😁
With Pilot you mean episode 1? Yeah it's slower but it establishes the characters and world Also it kinda sets the tone right. The main focus are the characters
fun fact. Myth&Roid and their lead singer parted away a while back after S3 of overlord. still a great band. the singer now goes by Mayu Maeshima. which the studio used her song No Man's Dawn for overlord season 4 ending. shes such a great singer.
we like it when you watching the opening and or endings to the show because it clues you into what the show is about while giving you the amazing music if you just listen to the music how can we trick you into watching more shows than you want to lol
The skeleton guy is the protagonist/main character. Protagonist means the main character and antagonist is the one who goes against the main character and because usually the protagonist is good and the antagonist is bad it can make people confused but the protagonist doesnt have to be good and the antagonist doesn't have to be bad they can be the opposite but most stories are about the good guys so it ended up this way.
You have to react to the show Also I think the one of the reasons it's taken over the requests is in part by the fact season 4 is in the middle of airing
The Overlord OST is amazing, because i every season i found myself binge-listening to the OP and ED's. As for anime OP and ED recommendations, i recommend listening to: - Fate: Zero - the songs for the Fate series have amazing vocals. - Kekkai Sensen - While the OP and ED is pop-rock, the show itself has a very jazzy OST. - Megalo Box - the first ED is infectiously catchy. - Oban Star Racers - I just included this for nostalgia, since it was one of the first anime's i watched as a kid. - Cowboy Bebop - the OP and ED are iconic classics. - No Gun's Life - The OP and ED's are fun and weird, but i'd advise really blurring the 2nd ED since it's rather lewd.
Skulduggery Pleasant is my daughter's favorite series for me to read her. Derek Landy is still releasing new books associated to the series with the latest one releasing in 2022
14:01 for openings 1 2 and 4 and ending 3 You have OxT for opening 3 and endings 1 and 2 you have myth&roid for ending 4 you have Mayu Maeshima (the former singer of myth&roid from 2015-17) sorry for the info dump im a huge myth&roid fan.
There is an anime called "So, I'm a Spider, So What?!" There are 2 OPs and 2 EDs. The OPs slap hard, especially no. 2. Also, both EDs were done by the Voice Actress of the MC (Aoi Yuuki) IN CHARACTER
Another opening that is great in my opinion is "Kiss of Death" from the anime Darling in the Franxx. Definitely watch Overlord, amazing and really just a top tier anime in my opinion.
Dude... definitely check out Overlord, one of my friends told me to and I waited for a while, finally started it a few months ago and it's been one hell of a ride.
LETS GO BRO overlord is just one of those that gets progressively better also for some reason albedo in the first two seasons had so little screen time yet she’s literally everywhere its crazy
Please react to the Re:Zero openings. In my opinion one of the best Anime ever. The second opening is also from Myth & Roid. 1. Redo 2. Paradisus-Paradoxum 3. Realize 4. Long shot
You'd definetly like at least 70% of the show. There is sole comedy in there too but that's one of the reasols I adore this show so much. You just apreciate the serious moments more ♡
You should totally react to Re:Zero OPs and EDs if you like Overlords music! A lot of the songs are done by Myth&Roid which you liked and it is also an amazing show!
Myth & Roid were very popular several years ago. I have not heard them so much in newer anime, bust some of the best songs are; Boogiepop, Jingo Jungle, L.L.L, Panta Rhei, Shadowgraph, STYX HELIX, Tit for Tat, Tough & Alone, Voracity. Selphius does a German version of many of these songs and they are very good as well. Make sure you check out Tit for Tat.
So-Bin is the artist who draws the illustrations for the Overlord endings and the Light Novel. They also designs the official figures for Overlord. Their art is some of the best out there in my opinion.
The first and second endings, as well as the third opening, are made by the band Myth&Roid. In addition, the fourth ending is sung by the same singer, though she is now doing a solo career. Also, the third ending is made by the same band that made openings 1, 2 and 4, OxT. The visuals for all the endings are drawings made by the artist of the original light novels, So-Bin, so that's a nice thing about them too.
The Yofukashi no Uta (Call of the Night) soundtrack this season has been an absolute bop the whole way through. I always find my self listening to the entire opening and ending after every episode.
It definitely has one of the best sound tracks of 2022... and is has solid ambiance throughout the episodes also. I've watched the Dub a little also... and its a bit rough.
I think that, even though I’m pretty new to this community I feel like you would definitely like this anime and you should most definitely react to it on the channel.
Hey man, I’ve been loving your content and I saw you reacted to a song by mori calliope over on twitch, I think you should react to her song Excuse My Rudeness, but Could you Please RIP. I think you would enjoy it. Ps. Could you also react to the Kaguya-sama openings pls
Just discovered you channel, amazing reaction by you! I would highly recommend checking out RE:Zero openings and endings. Some of the most beautiful soundtracks out there.
yep lets just say the woman at the ending that you talked about is very much a fan favorite and not to spoil the show but she got the heart eyes for our mc.
Overlord is an Anime where the character we follow is the villain in the world. He is a max level character from a videogame who got taken to a new world where everyone is immensely weaker than him and his servants, so due to a long series of misunderstandings across the first season, he ends up starting a plot of world conquest.
Honestly, I would love for you to react to "Skeleton Knight in another world" opening. But my reason for that is because I consider the song for that OP to be special: A Norwegian anime fan that did anime song covers to upload on Spotify was invited to sing an actual opening himself for this anime. I think just that kinda deserves a view from you, right? 😜
OPs 1, 2, and 4 and ED 3 are done by OxT OP 3 and EDs 1 and 2 are done by Myth & Roid ED 4 was done by Mayu Maeshima as a solo artist after Myth & Roid's disbandment
Why not another one from MYTH&ROID? It’s called Forever Lost and was produced for Made in Abyss, honestly in my opinion having the best musical score comparable to Journey the Game released for PS3. This is my solid plan on first making you react to this song, (can even be the end credits which is a nice little animation for your visual viewers) and then later on pushing you to react to the Made in Abyss OST in the coming future. If need be I can send a link to it in the future but for now, good luck with content! ( also since I guess that’s only one song as a recommendation, would you prefer to have the full song, or the end credits version which I believe to be shorter and visually amusing? )
The woman from ending 1 is Abedo, Ainz's(the skull guy) right hand. She shows up more in searches because at one point, maybe still, she is/was the highest rated waifu among all female anime characters
Definitely react to the Re:Zero openings (and endings) they're also done by Myth&Roid the band that did Hydra and Voracity. There's also Insert songs (Straight Bet and Theater D) done by them that you'd enjoy. You could just react to Myth&Roid but you said you prefer to react to the opening/ending versions and save the full songs for later.
i still love to hear myth and roid. Had the wonderful opertunity this year to attent a concert of her at Animagic in germany twice. Watching her live is just as amazing.
what so special about overlord as a show is that it is from the perspective of the big bad evil guy, which is the protagonist (main character). Highly recommend to watch

hydra always invokes such emotion especially after you watch the actually anime and it's makes me tear up so hard.
Yes, Mayu Maeshima is a Japanese singer, but she’s fluent in English, which is why she transitions seamlessly between Japanese and English in her songs. Fun fact - she used to be the lead singer of Myth and Roid, who did the female-led OPs and EDs of this series.
Damn that's why so familiar 😩
Why isnt she the singer anymore?
@@slyphknttdotdotdot637 she “graduated” (meaning she left for her own reasons - in her case, to go solo).
i thought i saw something saying she has not left she is working both projects.
@@RaginCanadian-gx2zl in the Myth & Roid Wikipedia page it states she's a "past member" that left in 2017. Her own personal Wikipedia page says the same and was when she started her own solo career.
The artstyle of the endings are just fabulously beautiful.
So-Bin's work is just outstanding.
You're very right
As one anime youtuber once said "It's good to be anime fan now".
Dont forget to drink water (if you know you know)
🖤
Happily check out that playlist and I completely agree with what I've seen, this world seems to have so much to offer! Something for everyone 💯❤️
Especially One Piece and Overlord
It’s so funny as he also plays the main proposed antagonist as well…

This way you get to sample both styles.
the name of the band is Myth & Roid, you'll love all their music, I promise

All I can say is that if an anime makes it to a 3rd season it's likely damn good. Overlord has 4 despite not having the budget of 90% of other 4+ season anime which get by on mostly graphical quality so you can hazard a guess as to how good the characters and story are in overlord. The graphics aren't bad. just not orgasmic like in shows such as Demon slayer or My hero academia when shit picks up.
You should seriously watch it.
not really, just look at danmachi and sao. number of season doesnt mean jack shit

Overlord S4 really came out with banger songs from HOLLOW HUNGER to NO MAN'S DAWN. Its my first time not skipping anime opening and ending
And no, this isn't just me trying to get the whole series by inches.... mostly.
Edit: I said 5 episodes, I should have said 4.
it has a 7 or 8 until Clementine^^
come on just say it!! you want a full series reaction to overlord

@@DreamApostle128 well, yes; but also; I think if someone stops after one episode they legitimately get the impression it's a very different kind of show.

Also:
Myth&Roid 1&2nd ending
OxT 3rd ending
Mayu Maeshima (Former lead vocalist for Myth&Roid) 4th ending
Thanks for making that clear to others. I've always loved villain mc's over good guy mc's so it always annoyed me when the protagonist is called the antagonist just because they are evil
Antihero would be a better term for it, that being a protagonist without heroic qualities.
@@tehrickles1447 Anti-hero is something completely different, that's a term used for heroes who doesn't have any usually heroic quality. Protagonist literally just means main character why do people always associate them with always being the good guys.
@@Sinbad_Deity The definition of Antihero reads as such. "A central character in a story, movie, or drama who lacks conventional heroic attributes."
While protagonist is "the leading character or one of the major characters in a drama, movie, novel, or other fictional text."
Both are correct, but I personally feel antihero suits him better.
Many anime do have a signature waifu and albedo is just the best succubae for the job.
Go for RE:ZERO OP and ED

I am new to this channel, and what I didn’t realize I needed, needed, is to see this man actually watch and react to Overlord.
Same here tbh
watching you react to the openings and now the endings, make me wanna rewatch it all again for the 4th time
4th? Rookie number my guy
The s3 CGI was peak, what are you talking about
wdym? Season 3 CGI not bad at all
I don't mind the cgi, even attack on titan isn't perfect even when it wasn't using that much cgi, and tbh I don't notice the cgi that much, yeah its there but then again the cgi parts only comprise like 10% of the show and I can bear with that, and most of those scenes where for the massive army and good for them for choosing the easy route to render entire armies using cgi than go through the hassle of having to draw each soldier and go through the painstaking process of having to copy paste just for some normies who know nothing on animation to nitpick about it, like bruh we ain't watching gundam or trigger studios, we watching overlord which is made along other isekai animes like saga of tanya the evil and etc. animators gotta cut some slack they don't get paid enough to make every episode like a ghibli movie they ain't makoto shinkai, plus the details on every character and background is already insane the world building of yggdrasil is massive and they have to draw all that detail down they don't have time to draw details on each individual warrior from different races in an army scene, the show is intricate thus it was necessary to use cgi so they can put out more episodes for you ungrateful f*cks
The cgi wasn't even bad idk why people keep overstating that
Cgi wasn't great but makes sense for the scenes they used it in, animation isn't easy and very time consuming plus expensive.
hydra is the most insanely good ending ever created, and one of the best song i´ve hear in my life, at pair with escape from midwitch valley
I think you mean 1, 2, 4 endings and opening 3 from Myth&Roid ; then 1, 2, 4 openings and ending 3 from OxT; there~ xD
So good and bad do not have an effect on what they are
Great reaction, I really hope you will start reviewing the Overlord anime. As for what OP/ED to watch next I would recommend the Higurashi series.
You gotta do the reaction for Overlord from season 1. The pilot episode is a little boring but it will pick up in the later episodes. Just watch and enjoy it 😁
With Pilot you mean episode 1?
Yeah it's slower but it establishes the characters and world
Also it kinda sets the tone right. The main focus are the characters
fun fact. Myth&Roid and their lead singer parted away a while back after S3 of overlord. still a great band. the singer now goes by Mayu Maeshima. which the studio used her song No Man's Dawn for overlord season 4 ending. shes such a great singer.
The band who did the first 2 openings of overlord did ending 3 and the band who did ending 1 and 2 did make op3.
we like it when you watching the opening and or endings to the show because it clues you into what the show is about while giving you the amazing music if you just listen to the music how can we trick you into watching more shows than you want to lol
Re:Zero Openings and Endings? It could hopefully be a good series to watch in the future maybe.
You have to react to the show
Also I think the one of the reasons it's taken over the requests is in part by the fact season 4 is in the middle of airing
The Overlord OST is amazing, because i every season i found myself binge-listening to the OP and ED's.
As for anime OP and ED recommendations, i recommend listening to:
- Fate: Zero - the songs for the Fate series have amazing vocals.
I highly recommend the OPs from the Monogatari series! There are a lot of them, but almost every single one is an amazing song!

I always find my self listening to the entire opening and ending after every episode.

yep lets just say the woman at the ending that you talked about is very much a fan favorite and not to spoil the show but she got the heart eyes for our mc.
Overlord is an Anime where the character we follow is the villain in the world. He is a max level character from a videogame who got taken to a new world where everyone is immensely weaker than him and his servants, so due to a long series of misunderstandings across the first season, he ends up starting a plot of world conquest.

Literally every frame of every Overlord ending is wallpaper worthy.
Jojo's bizzare adventures has great openings, highly recommend reacting to them
Honestly, I would love for you to react to "Skeleton Knight in another world" opening.
But my reason for that is because I consider the song for that OP to be special: A Norwegian anime fan that did anime song covers to upload on Spotify was invited to sing an actual opening himself for this anime.
I think just that kinda deserves a view from you, right? 😜
OPs 1, 2, and 4 and ED 3 are done by OxT
OP 3 and EDs 1 and 2 are done by Myth & Roid
ED 4 was done by Mayu Maeshima as a solo artist after Myth & Roid's disbandment
I first watched overlord just to see what all the fuss was about and it quickly became one of my favorite anime of all time
Why not another one from MYTH&ROID?
You could just react to Myth&Roid but you said you prefer to react to the opening/ending versions and save the full songs for later.

what so special about overlord as a show is that it is from the perspective of the big bad evil guy, which is the protagonist (main character). Highly recommend to watch
Overlord is one of the best animes and the best Isekai ever written. You must watch it, I can promise you it will be worth it.
Praise the Supreme one!🙌
