Gods, I adore episodes like this. I love all of them, to be sure; but ya'lls interaction with one another, as well as with this wonderful world MontyGlu has created... it's pure magic.
Can someone please make a list of the animals that Task has collected at the Sweet Dragon for what I can only guess to be an extra dimensional petting zoo?
Did he want to? Yes, but he can't. It's essentially a Zuko situation but instead of getting all hung up on what he lost, he learned that he gained so much more.
No Nit-Picks this week, but that’s not unexpected after a boss battle like that last week. Anyway, instead I’ll be using this lapse in action to go over what each main character will be receiving in this latest level up and because it’s impractical to include all of their multiclass options, I’ll proceed with the assumption that none of them has multiclassed. So, without further ado… Borky gets Relentless Rage, which means when he drops to 0 hit points while he’s raging, he can make a DC 10 Con save to instead drop to 1 hit point. This ability is very similar to Relentless Endurance, which Borky already has, except it isn’t as reliable but he can use it more than once, with the DC increasing by 5 after each time he uses it before he takes a rest. Overall, my opinion is that this is a redundancy to Borky’s abilities that might become useful in rare situations but might even be forgotten about if not used enough. Then again, Borky might use Reckless Attack more often because he has another way to stay up in combat. Greckles is, in my opinion, very likely to multiclass into Cleric based solely on his relationship with Solly, so it is very likely that he might not get these class features. Greckles gets an extra d6 added to his sneak attack damage, totalling 6d6 and he learns a new wizard spell of 1st or 2nd level from either the illusion or enchantment schools of magic; Greckles has known only illusion spells so far so I wonder if he’ll finally learn some enchantment spells for versatility, or he might just learn blur. But the biggest thing he gets is Reliable Talent, which means that whenever he makes an ability check that his proficiency bonus is added to, he can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10 instead. This is a potent ability that can slip your mind pretty easily. I foresee situations where this ability isn’t used when it could have been to find its way into my Nit-Picks often. Panic gets access to 6th level spells, simple as that. Notable ones include Mass Suggestion, Otto’s Irresistible Dance, True Seeing and even Heroes’ Feast if Monty allows the expanded spell lists from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything. Task receives one of two features from his subclass, either Volley or Whirlwind Attack. Volley allows him to use his action to make a ranged attack against any number of creatures within 10 feet of a point he can within his weapon’s range. Whirlwind Attack is very similar to Volley, except that he can make a melee attack against any number of creatures within 5 feet of him. It’s not a secret that Task is an archer, not a melee fighter, so I fully expect him to take Volley. It’s also important to note that both of these are technically just one attack, just with multiple attack rolls. I don’t know why that’s important, but it could be in the future. Also, Remy gets another attack per attack action and he learns a new spell but it doesn’t really matter because he isn’t a main character.

The absolute joy and happy tears from the team as they say goodbye to Mark. How sweet!! You can tell he meant a great deal. Love this companionship.

This was great and all...but what about Yuki Ko? Just did not care for Greckles? Greckles did not care about Yuki Ko to even want to see her?

Lol
"Remy isn't a main character"
You and Bosco crack me up with that.
