  • These tenants have been a pain for a while and this does not surprise me as the tenants seem to be causing as many problems as possible. However, all the problems are just adding to the tenant's bill they are going to get.

    The issue is that either the renter or the owner must in some way pay insurance and property taxes if they want a "permanent roof" with utilities like electricity, gas and water. Because of this, many people-at least in California, where I currently reside-are living in tents. No taxes, rent, mortgages, or insurance. The number of people who tell me they live in their car that I meet amazes me. Its crazy out here!

      It’s getting wild by the day. The prices of homes are quite ridiculous and Mortgage prices has been skyrocketing on a roll(currently over 7%). Sometimes i wonder if to just invest my spare cash into the stock market and wait for a housing crash or just go ahead to buy a home anyways.

      I get such worries too. I'm 50 and retiring early. Already worried of the future and where its headed, especially in terms of finances and how to get by. I'm also considering making my first investment in the stock market, but how can I do so given that the market has been in a mess for the majority of the year?

      For you to grow your portfolio in today's market, you really need to be coachable and willing to get off your high horses. I for example, have managed to grow mine from $150k to 300% of my initial deposit within the past 8 months just by copying trades from a broker that has better skillset and technical know-how than me.

      There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with Annette Marie Holt for about 3 years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.

    Wow. This walk through is like one of our rentals.The smell was probably food from the refrigerator since the electric was off. The good news is they at least put it in the trash. Ours was left in the refrigerator and we had to destroy the refrigerator food and all ! the smell was so bad in the house . Stove literally burned up literally. The house is going to take thousands to repair. 🤦‍♀️ somehow it was good to know that that other people are dealing with this, but I am so sorry Mark 😢I know how you feel.

    Just amazing how folks live like this. Plus have children and dogs in their mess. I'm with you about taking them to collections. They are going to see how much they messed up their credit and even future to rent from someone else.

    I had a renter leave after non payment (for months) and the mess was even worse than this poor house. I wasn’t sure if they just lived like that or if they dumped out all their garbage all thru the house for spite. Maybe both. But a lot of usable stuff left behind…must be expensive to start all over again, although I guess they can save a little by not paying rent lol

    It seems very odd to me that there isn't a fence separating that unit with the next door house. You would think the property line would run from the right side of the back gate/fence. There's really nothing stopping the tenants from putting furniture or storing things against the neighbors house.

    Good grief! How could people be so trashy? I met a couple whom I had the displeasure of renting to. He was a pot smoker and she was a wine bibber, which didn't make for too good of a compatibility. This house looks about as messy as my house was when they left!

    (From the mom's perspective) That's why you don't co-sign for people. Places might require a co-signer, and too bad for the person if they don't have a co-signer. But, that's why you shouldn't co-sign.

    • @rosesmith6208
      @rosesmith6208 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      never co sign, if thy need a co signer to get the loan or rental tht means they are unreliable and dont prioritize their obligations. I wont co sign for anyone regardless.

    I bought my 1st house in 1990 from a woman whose 30-something druggie son was squatting. This was a great turn-of the- century house she inherited from her mother. Fast forward: I had drama right after I closed and changed the locks. He demanded I let him get his refrigerator out. Nope! When I called to turn the utilities on I was informed $800 was owed on the gas! Not my problem! The best thing he'd done was install a police floor throw bolt for the backdoor. End of story. LOL
