Wow I just finished the van build process list. You don't know how much this cheered me up Chrome. I'm in Australia and not only are we in the middle of a horrible drought but our bushfire season started in spring and will probably run till mid autumn 2/3 more months of it. Today it just got to me and so I binge watched this series which took my mind of everything for a while. Thanks Chrome ♥️

Very neat, I have found that magnets have a lot of practical uses on my van. I am using very strong (and cheap or free) magnets that are recycled from old computer HDD. They come with a backplate with holes which help. Cheers, from Tasmania.

Most clever storage solution I've seen yet as far as cost, functionality, and looking tidy. Kudos to Ed and his wife!! I like the sink and how the tablet becomes their "big screen" . Yeah Canada! If you put more grommets on the bottom of the shower curtain and put two more Hooks and rope it won't blow around.

I love the window coverings with the hidden magnets! Overall though, the style in your van, Chrome, appeals to me more. That's the wonderful thing about building out your own van, you can have it exactly how you want it.

Love viewing other's creative ideas in their builds - so cool ! It's the little things that make a difference. I noticed he has door handles made from pipe, did he copy you, or did you copy him ??? I saw in his 'man cave' he used pipes also. Whatever, good idea and it too is stylish touch for the van.

I was surprised that as meticulous his 'build out' is that he didn't do a pull out slatted extension on the bed instead of using the storage totes. The storage solution of cubbies is very nice. May steal that for sure. Was wondering about a roof fan. He has solar but not sure what he uses it for other than cabin lights and charging his tablet and phone.

Lovely functional build! I bought that same collapsible pan for my future van because it is marketed as a cutting board, colander, and basin. And I love the bins and netting! Drawers seem to add so much unnecessary weight, when you can just have shelves. Note how Chrome has never seemed to find the need to carry around dirty water, and I don’t plan to either. 🐶❤️

INGENIOUS love the shower/kitchen, all the shower curtain needs are a few magnets to keep them attached to the door. This is mad cool!! Imagine a conversion with features from both your van as well as ed's. WIN WIN
NKya S If you plan ahead, save the magnets from old shower curtain liners as you go, and that’s a win/win ... just repurpose them for your van.

Nice set up and build. I still am not a fan of the back bed though. I like the extension bed on one side, counter/kitchen on the other.

Carbon Monoxide detector must be placed BELOW the level of the bed to protect you properly...
