Considering there are no windows and stealth, it is a Wow build for sure. That pantry is incredible! I also love the mirrors on the sliding van door and the outside sitting area. It's pretty incredible what Lauren has does, love it!
Ya know, I’ve been admiring this beautiful Van and never even noticed the lack of windows! There’s the back windows but still! I hope She gets on YT soon! She looks a lot like a younger me lol 😂 I’m 60!
Nice job. .Because it's also your transportation the "remodel" costs practically pays for itself after ~2 years. (After ~4 years break even or better on what rent/transportation would have been.) Can't go wrong. Even if changing your mind after saving money ... you still have an RV type vehicle to travel & vacation in. And, PAID for. Plus super fancy on the inside. Love your color pallette. Very beautiful.

Finally someone else had the idea of extending the bed on the counter! That is exactly why I've always wanted an elevated seating area to convert because you can get a huge bed without compromising space. Love it!
Amazing woman, amazing van. The design is spacious and elegant. This is the first time I've seen van life being used in conjunction with a career, as an actual viable alternative to renting/ owning! I assumed that she was a rock climber until I saw her nails! 😆 I truly appreciated her openness about Crohns. Best wishes for continued vanlife happiness!
I appreciated this van build because I am a full time van lifer with a career working in the corporate office for a major company and my goal is to have a van like this. I’m doing ok with my van but I can’t cook like I want to. I eat out too much now and spend too much money on fast food. I can’t wait to get me a bigger vehicle and do something similar to what she did

She is beautiful, lady and her home is absolutely gorgeous. OMG love everything but the back picnic area she built is fantastic. She has so much in such a small area. Love the ceiling too.
What an impressive lady. Will definitely check her out further. This is how a lot of young people will need to approach life going forward. She has very low expenses with a high paying job. She’ll have her student loans paid off in no time, and by the time she is tired of the van life she will have a nice amount of money saved up with no debt.

That info at the end helped me and I'm sure others with a med condition who want to van life but are hesitant because if it. This has helped me to make the decision to go for it. I'm nicely surprised at how great it is inside without windows - I imagined it would be claustrophobic but the colour & design & mirrors give it a great feel. The plus side is also feeling secure when you close down & lock up at night. Good job 👍
Seen a lot of van builds on videos... yours is really the first I've seen that feels like a home... instead of just a van they live in. You thought of a lot of really nice little details. Love the swivel chair and desk idea.
She is phenomenal! Such a creative and passion driven soul! It takes a lot of work to materialize one's dream of a desired life inspite of medical problems, yet she did it for herself by herself with her creativity and hard work. Everyone should support individuals like her trying to make it, she is not just a dreamer but a doer. That takes a lot of balls and real grit.

I find that installing quality materials internally helps with long term durability. It takes time to learn what these are, it takes discernment. There are manufacturers that want you to use their products that don’t function well and don’t fit well or last, then you have to keep coming back to them with the problems you encounter with regular use. I am talking about ibd and colitis. Good luck to everyone with their new build.

I watch a lot of these van conversion channels yours by far are some of the most innovative ideas I’ve seen. The layout is wonderful, the bed is the perfect height because I don’t want to be squashed to get in or out, the storage spaces are wonderful. Good job and a happy van life future with Stella!
Awesome. Still waiting for mine. I was going to use tin and a boat hatch so this was gr8 to see. I also plan to put my batteries and electrical system in an accessible place, not in the garage. I am also planning on a small closet and pantry and using havlock. Nice job!! I have my electrical system which is similar but not as huge an alternator charger as yours. You helped validate my choices.

Lovely van build!! I live in a rental...so I have portable airfryer/convection oven. It's portable and also saves on electricity. I do not use my built in oven AT ALL. I can bake anything in the airfryer that you would bake in a conventional oven.
I love your van and how candid you are about your illness. I hope others who share your medical struggles are encouraged. I never considered living in my van or in my hometown. I like to visit other places and attend events in comfort.
Love this video saving it to my list. Her layout is about 85% of the layout plan I have for my van build. Not to many u shape Van builds out there. One reason I am thinking about something like this or small RV or small trailer is because I have urinary anxiety and need a bathroom close by but I want to travel and see all the wonders. I have about 4 years left to work at a Psych tech and then plan on retiring full time. ❤ This is when I want to make some of this happen so I am watching a lot of TH-cam videos. Cheers
I've see a million van conversion videos, but this one takes the cake! It has absolutely everything I would need to be comfortable. My husband and I are retired. We wanted to be able to travel all around the country in an RV, but we have never done rving. It's quite frightening to lug a big trailer behind a big truck. It looks great for one person, but can two fit comfortably in your van build? Also, what if Iwanted someone to build exactly like your build. Is this possible?

I am in your shoes a few years back by being in the planning stages; been studying videos and tutorials on conversions on all kinds of rigs as well as tiny houses. Loved your presentation. Your project was very well thought out! I can only. attempt to do as close to your level of achievement on it as I can in my first build. My box truck build had been hiding in plain site with only a few sq ft of box side exposed. The 1st pic is the truck with a tree growing up between the bumper and grille. It has an 8x8x20' box on a 1986 F600 with a Detroit diesel with 5 spd gearbox and 2 speed axle. Has translucent roof- Yuck; but unbelievably is still intact. I need to replace about a 3'x4' section of butcher block flooring by the back door. I have been making drawings and scribbling notes as I have a flash of "wouldn't it be nice if it had that" in my build notebook. It's pretty easy running through a lot of money; I already have my bath mat and have picked out some of the light fixtures plumbing fixtures, and some of the other accessories, but I plan on doing it on a small budge with all of the amenities. The truck has a lift gate and currently a roll up door rotten at the bottom. The truck has been sitting for I know more than five years, I came along and put in a battery, just to see if the engine would even turn over; hit the key, and it fired up! I think I found a winner! And it only has 89,900+ miles! I am retired and will be doing this in Alexandria,Va and the Thousand Islands NY this summer. Wish me luck! Still waiting for the title to clear before I spend a bunch of money on it, I am at grassrootsconversions at gmail if you want to see some pics. 4:53 I always say this. I don't cook much in my van but when I do I have tons of leftovers and reheating stuff on a stovetop isn't fun.

One reason I am thinking about something like this or small RV or small trailer is because I have urinary anxiety and need a bathroom close by but I want to travel and see all the wonders. I have about 4 years left to work at a Psych tech and then plan on retiring full time. ❤ This is when I want to make some of this happen so I am watching a lot of TH-cam videos. Cheers

I've see a million van conversion videos, but this one takes the cake! It has absolutely everything I would need to be comfortable. My husband and I are retired. We wanted to be able to travel all around the country in an RV, but we have never done rving. It's quite frightening to lug a big trailer behind a big truck. It looks great for one person, but can two fit comfortably in your van build? Also, what if Iwanted someone to build exactly like your build. Is this possible?

I am in your shoes a few years back by being in the planning stages; been studying videos and tutorials on conversions on all kinds of rigs as well as tiny houses. Loved your presentation. Your project was very well thought out! I can only. attempt to do as close to your level of achievement on it as I can in my first build. My box truck build had been hiding in plain site with only a few sq ft of box side exposed. The 1st pic is the truck with a tree growing up between the bumper and grille. It has an 8x8x20' box on a 1986 F600 with a Detroit diesel with 5 spd gearbox and 2 speed axle. Has translucent roof- Yuck; but unbelievably is still intact. I need to replace about a 3'x4' section of butcher block flooring by the back door. I have been making drawings and scribbling notes as I have a flash of "wouldn't it be nice if it had that" in my build notebook. It's pretty easy running through a lot of money; I already have my bath mat and have picked out some of the light fixtures plumbing fixtures, and some of the other accessories, but I plan on doing it on a small budge with all of the amenities. The truck has a lift gate and currently a roll up door rotten at the bottom. The truck has been sitting for I know more than five years, I came along and put in a battery, just to see if the engine would even turn over; hit the key, and it fired up! I think I found a winner! And it only has 89,900+ miles! I am retired and will be doing this in Alexandria,Va and the Thousand Islands NY this summer. Wish me luck! Still waiting for the title to clear before I spend a bunch of money on it, I am at grassrootsconversions at gmail if you want to see some pics.
