Looking great, thanks for sharing! Curious why not run the lay down shocks? Doesn’t this offer better articulation? Or are you concerned about ride height? Either way, looking forwarrd to seeing what else you end up doing here, I’m saving pennies to upgrade from my mini printer so I can start printing some bodies!
Thanks!! I didn't want to go with lay down shocks for ride height like you said but also more importantly, scale looks. It looks better to me to see those shocks under there like they'd be mounting up to the factory locations.
Actually worked on it a little today. Working on the suspension and getting a video shot of all of that! It's coming, just got put on the back burner a little
I agree it would've worked better. Just using what I had here though and this body will have some body work on it to hide the seams so any imperfections will be covered
Looks good
Appreciate it!
Nice build
Thank you! It's been on the side for a while. I need to get back on it!
Aw man, that's coming along nice!
Thank you! I'm really excited to get the suspension finished and the body mounted.
Cool tune crawler, good work buddy!)🤩💥💯👍🤝
Thank you!
That’s going to be sweet
Thanks! I'm thinking so too
I just roll my tube with xacto. They make a saw toothed blade you can use too. Jewelers saw would work.. then file them. Cool project.
Something to cut it at my workbench would've been great but the dremel did work well. Thanks!
Looking good! Cant wait for the next video!
Thank you, The body should be getting painted soon.
Good job man.
Appreciate it!
Thanks ! 👏🏾
No problem!!
For climbing rocks the laid back shocks are really nice. For scale trail running not so much
Yea I'll likely be doing more scale "trail" running. I have a set of shocks on the way that'll work much better.
1:28 Dude! How many Red Bulls did you have? 😆
None, Red Bull isn't that great to me. My family has a history of shaking problems and unfortunately it passed down to me. 🤷♂️
@@FullThrottleRC or fortunately. It comes in handy for sanding. Hahaha

any update on this build?

What size rod and tubing did you use?
2-56 threaded rod and 1/8" stainless tubing
i wish my 3d printer worked so i could try this with my axial scx 24
3d printing can be challenging but also so rewarding!

@@FullThrottleRC i have had it for 4 years
@@FullThrottleRC no signs of me figuring it out
Trying to sell it?
Next video?
Working on it today. Getting the body mounted up, look out for it in the next couple weeks!
Granite works better as a flat surface.
Only $2 at home depot for a big tile too

@@FullThrottleRC use Elmers wood filler instead of bondo.
Its lighter than bondo and sands faster.
