Bagama’t nagkaroon ng kaunting kontrobersya dahil sa pagkakamali ng host, ipinagbunyi pa rin hindi lang ng mga Pinoy kundi maging ng mga foreign fans ang pagkapanalo ni Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

Pia's won is really inspiring. I love both of them pero I think si Pia kasi daming bashers nung nanalo, 3x sumali bago manalo, at underdog sya. Sobrang unlikely na mananalo sya kaya tuwang tuwa lahat ng pinoy kaya memorable talaga. Unlike kay Cat sure win na kasi tayo sakanya need nalang ng assurance nung time na yon. Hehe. Hope to see our country getting back the cron again :) if not kahit runner up nalang.

They're always saying na Pia is a surprise win. Pero kung napanood nila yung Miss Universe 2015, una pa lang sya na yun, There's something in her aura that day. From Preliminaries up to the point na binigay na sa kanya ang microphone to answer, Sya na yun. Walang duda. Palibhasa dami nagdoubt sa kanya kasi 3 times na sumali and pinagbigyan lang "daw" kasi paulit ulit na sumali tas sya pa pala makakapagbalik ng Miss Universe crown.

I'm not sure why Miss Colombia would feel "humiliated" by losing a crown that was never hers to begin with. It was an honest mistake (by Steve Harvey) and the rightful winner (Miss Philippines) took the crown. That's it.

Trent Timoy yes,,, but at that moment Miss Columbia was crowned Miss Universe,, even if it was for a short moment,, mistake, or not,,, honest or not,, it was taken from her. She felt humiliated,, embarrassed,,, she probably wanted to go and hide. I think Miss Columbia handled it rather well,, but behind closed doors it was a different story. I believe Miss Phillipines was deserving of the win. I thought Miss USA should if been 1st runner up,, Columbia 2nd runner up. Columbia was conceited,,, not humble at all. Columbia,, was hoping so bad,, actually, almost crying, that she would win the crown,, and she lost. PHILLIPINES and, USA were the most humble.

If truly based only on the final Q&A and everything was really erased, Miss USA 🇺🇸 should have been 1st runner-up. Miss Colombia's 🇨🇴 answer is too full of all about herself. Miss Philippines 🇵🇭, gave the simplest, neutral but pleasantly witty, likeable and winning 🥇 answer. Her showmanship is also above the rest and Colombia followed her as a very close second (showmanshipwise in the ramp).
