It appears that neither you nor your coach are heeding the warnings your body is giving you. If you’re in pain all the time and you aren’t performing to the level you honestly believe you’re capable of, then you’re training too much and not recovering enough. If you do not recover, you cannot perform. Training is stress. If over-stressed, adding more stress does not magically make you perform better. Recovering from stress is what makes you better. Chronic pain and poor performance are major indicators of a poor balance of stress and recovery. I hope you find success, and I don’t think more training is the answer for the time being.
@athlete.x Thank you very much for this well thought out comment and feedback, I value your perspective very highly based on the high quality information you provide on your channel I'm quite injury prone which leaves me quick to blame things (such as the indoor curves) for causing my injuries. Believe it or not, being over-trained never even crossed my mind. My coach is probably in the exact same boat Luckily, this video was training from about 2 weeks ago now and I managed to finish out my indoor season, and am now taking a week completely off my feet. I may not have heeded my body's warnings 😅 but I will certainly heed yours going forward Thank you for your time
Good stuff man, I believe you on the indoor curves. I just started my track and field season for high school and we started our season off with an NAU high school invitational. The meet was held on their indoor track and man... those curves were something else. I wish you luck and can't wait to see you meet your goals!
Used to run at franklin myself. Crazy I found this after graduating, would have been fun to chat about at meets. Keep up the good work and best of luck!
When I said next week I meant two videos away. So now, this week. And for the 3rd time it was hand timed and extremely wind assisted and there is no 150 mark on the track so there's no telling how far I actually ran, for the record

I agree him and his coach are currently cooking up a season ending injury
I agree. I've been discussing Feed The Cats with Simon and although we agreed pretty much it seems he is doing too much instead of resting.
