LYRICS: You take my breath away Love thinks it's here to stay There's still so much for me to do And I can't stop loving you Oh, can this be true If you could see what I have seen Broken hearts and broken dreams Then I wake up and you're not there Pain finds me everywhere Oh, but you don't care Don't forget me when I'm gone My heart would break I have loved you for so long It's all I can take You, you take my breath away Love thinks it's here to stay Still so much for me to do And I can't stop loving you Oh, can this be true Don't forget me when I'm gone My heart would break I have loved you for so long It's all I can take Then I wake up and you're not there Pain finds me everywhere Oh, but you don't care Don't forget me when I'm gone For heaven's sake I have loved you for so long Is loving wrong So don't forget me when I'm gone My heart would break I have loved you for so long Is loving wrong
This is definitely sounding like the 80s. I don't know this at all, it was just before I came to the US in November of 86. Has a little bit of a Tears For Fears feel on the vocal.
86 was when this came out. The guys in the band heard the shuffle-beat of Tears For Fears's song 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World' and liked it. Jim Vallance, Bryan Adams's right hand man, heard it as well and he was producing this album for the band. Hence why Bryan Adams is singing parts of the chorus (the answers).
Lots of practice. Really. It's as simple as that. And, I think Eb minor is the 7th fret? Edit: Oh yeah, it IS the 6th. I was in the middle of cooking supper when I saw the comment. Good luck. Just practice a LOT!
LYRICS:
You take my breath away
Love thinks it's here to stay
There's still so much for me to do
And I can't stop loving you
Oh, can this be true
If you could see what I have seen
Broken hearts and broken dreams
Then I wake up and you're not there
Pain finds me everywhere
Oh, but you don't care
Don't forget me when I'm gone
My heart would break
I have loved you for so long
It's all I can take
You, you take my breath away
Love thinks it's here to stay
Still so much for me to do
And I can't stop loving you
Oh, can this be true
Don't forget me when I'm gone
My heart would break
I have loved you for so long
It's all I can take
Then I wake up and you're not there
Pain finds me everywhere
Oh, but you don't care
Don't forget me when I'm gone
For heaven's sake
I have loved you for so long
Is loving wrong
So don't forget me when I'm gone
My heart would break
I have loved you for so long
Is loving wrong

@@Axess-sv8nq At least I'm not losing my mind thinking it sounded like Tears For Fears.
@@ccjmusic Mind? What's that? As Ozzy Osbourne once said: "Of all the things I lost, I miss my mind the most!"
@@Axess-sv8nq lol
Hey Mate! I hope you don't mind me asking....I'm having trouble fingering the EbMinor at the 6th fret. I can't get the high e to ring out. Any tips?
