Briscoe County Jr, was my favorite TV show when I was a kid. While all the other kids were watching Power Rangers. I was Bruce Campbell in Briscoe County Jr. Hollywood truly has underestimated Bruce Campbell's talent. The Evil Dead franchise is definitely under appreciated by Hollywood and critics. I don't know man....I can definitely see it, he would be very groovy, it would've been just as enigmatic, but Jim brought something to the riddler that I think I needed to see. It was the mannerisms and the way Jim can toss his voice around in his own goofy way that made me love the character even more. For example when he was draining all of Gotham's brain waves, for me that was awesome and only Jim could have pulled it off that way. Now that I've said that, Bruce could play the riddler, and it would be God damned awesome because of who he is and how his characters are. ........there just needs to be two Riddlers........ like what if the Joker got a hold of the book.....
2 jz a freaking men I really wish the Coen bros and Quentin Tarantino or even Spielberg would take Bruce Campbell more seriously cause Bruce Campbell can act and he is so charismatic in every role he played
Well i was young when I first saw him in Evil Dead and with subsequent appearances in other things I became a fan. His name isn't tossed around on TMZ or the other A list Hollywood Celebrity venues but Bruce does have A list talent for what he does. It does happen that many people get their first break with Independent movies like Evil Dead and then that is it . It also happens to many Academy Award winners . In fact it is the norm. I am so glad he made a career for himself and he actually has legions of fans and i have met them in movie buff circles . There are even Elitist Art Snobs who like him !
@SweetPeaches69 Most actors - most creative people in general (artists, musicians, etc.) - struggle with some form of addiction. Alcoholism is the most common.
One of the best. The makers of this video probably never heard of it. Or it would be on here. Definitely worth an honorable mention over that crappy Alien movie. Speaking of Alien movies with Bruce. Anyone see him in an old obscure flick called Moon Trap?
He played the Daring Dragoon on Jack of All trades....and he doesn't even get an honorable mention. I mean, Burn Notice is great and all but Campbell was the lead in Jack of All Trades and he had some of his best moments in that show.
+Dingo D. Manhunter I am a HUGE Bruce Campbell fan but I personally think that is one of his worst shows. It is so cheesy with terrible dialogue and acting from other annoying characters. Bruce Campbell's greatest tv performance was indeed Brisco County Jr, and Burn Notice. Bruce Campbell is the finest man to grace a silver screen All the other actors just degrade his noble scenes The Oscars should award him for his wondrous career Hold a town parade for him with each movie premiere
I think the reason why people like Bruce Campbell so much is he appeals to the common person and comes across as your everyday ordinary average guy that you'd hang out at the bar with drinking a few beers. He doesn't act like a lot of stuck-up pretty boy/pretty girl Hollywood actors do (like their shit don't stink!) and his movie charachter parallels how I would probably act if I ever had to battle zombies or retrieve a "book of the dead" just to get back home!

But i recently benj watched Ash vs Evil Dead series & Ash quickly became on my all time favorite movie characters. As i ended up here at this page researching his films lol. Bruce is Drastically underrated.
In Spider-Man (2002), Bruce was a ring announcer... In Spider-Man 2 (2004). Bruce was a snooty usher in Mary Jane’s play... In Spider-Man 3 (2007), Bruce was a french restaurant owner....
I remembered a show called Brisco county Jr. As a kid, but I was quite young and didn't know it was him until RIGHT KNOW! I was lucky enough be extremely intrigued by the army of darkness billboards around town though, so I still discovered his talents quite early... Still, I have to find Brisco!
I mostly agree with the list and its placements (Although I haven't seen 'The Hudsucker Proxy'), and am VERY glad that Brisco County Jr. made the list and pretty high up on it. That was my very first exposure to him. I remember when I was about 10 years old, the one year the show was on the air, my whole family and I would eagerly gather around the TV every Friday night to watch Brisco's adventures. A couple other Campbell roles I liked that didn't make this list were as the voice of the villainous Magnanimous on the awesome animated show 'Megas XLR,' and his funny cameo as a Winkie Guard in 'Oz the Great and Powerful.'

I loved Sam Axe. He was my favorite of the show, and not just cuz it was Bruce. That character was solid and Bruce delivered
Some times he is Chuck Finnly
You redeemed yourselves by making Bruce's signature role #1.
My favorite of the three is (of course) the original "The Evil Dead," much love as the other two get.
2019 still Hail to the king, baby!! 🛡🗡☠
Bruce Campbell fan after watch all Evil Dead trilogy
Well, Bruce Campbell's Ash character wasn't very Ash-like in the first Evil Dead movie. He had quite a drastic change.
That's because the original Evil Dead was intended to be more serious as a horror film.

i Teckai He said he bullied a sheriff in school, which indicates his personality was similar as a kid. But in Evil Dead 1, he wasn't cocky or egocentric.
It's Bruce Campbell, he doesn't need an excuse. Even if someone thinks he's bad or boring, he's still more badass than Chuck Norris.
Man. I saw the 2013 Evil Dead remake & it instantly became one of my favorite horror movies. At the time i knew nothing about it being a remake or who Bruce Campbell. But i recently benj watched Ash vs Evil Dead series & Ash quickly became on my all time favorite movie characters. As i ended up here at this page researching his films lol. Bruce is Drastically underrated.
Not even the least bit surprised his ASH char. is the best. "GROOVY..."
In Spider-Man (2002), Bruce was a ring announcer...
In Spider-Man 2 (2004). Bruce was a snooty usher in Mary Jane’s play...
In Spider-Man 3 (2007), Bruce was a french restaurant owner....
Escape from L.A was cheesy but a good movie. I enjoyed it.
"The name's Ash, housewares."
He is great in the little-known movie ‘Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat’, opposite David Carradine.
Bruce Campbell has alway been a badass. Gene Starwind Seal Of Approval.
Appeared in the X-Files during season 6, will not spoil for those who have never seen it but it was a pretty good performance by Bruce :)
Yes, one of my favorite comedy episodes!
I must find this episode! *frantically looks it up* X-Files is still on Hulu right?
One of my faves!
I just can not help but to check up on Bruce Cambell
maniac cop not even mentioned huh
I saw Maniac Cop 2 first, and the opening with Bruce kinda made me mad and I wouldn't watch the rest of the series. 😂
Brisco County Jr. is such an underrated show. Should have been a classic.
...and I thought it lasted longer than one season too
I Loved it all, My Superstar Bruce Campbell Ash Williams
His appearances in Xena as the Prince of Thieves and Army of Darkness are my favorites
Bruce Campbell, is the king of cool. Forget steve mcqueen.
Bruce is the goat my childhood was spent watching his films. Glad Sam was on this list at #2. #1 is truly his greatest hail to the king.
