I am normally in full agreement with your top 10 lists but IMHO 2 things please: 1. Scar is easily top 5 2. not having Robin Williams on this list AT ALL is a sin, no other person can occupy the first spot! also it’s for Genie followed very closely by Lovelace/Ramon from Happy Feet & Fender from Robots!
I really love the english voice actor of Goku - Sean Schemmel You know in the anime community we like to make fun of a lot of the English version of an anime. But when someone put that much effort into it you can't complain Dragon ball stands as the only anime that you won't get laughed at for saying the English version is better. And Goku's voice actors deserve a lot of the credit for that, I mean you can look up "Goku's rage moments" there are even clips of him in the studio doing the rage moment, s*** is insane.
You could tell that Eartha Kitt and Patrick Warburton were really having a blast hamming it up as Yzma and Kronk. They were easily the highlight of the entire movie.
Yeah Robin Williams was one of a kind, he’d properly make a wonderful Genie in the live action too. Also can’t forget Gilbert Gottfried who got even Robin Williams to laugh with an ad-lib as Iago.
I loved him in that role, but he HAD to go hard in that role. Only thing that kept him off the list. The fact that Gottfried made #1 in his place, shows how loaded the talent was in that movie's acting room
While recording Po's lines, Jack Black would pose and act out whatever Po would be doing in that scene, in order to sound more authentic. It's said he would come out of the recording booth looking like he'd just run a marathon. If that's not commiting to a role, then I don't know what is.
Will Ferrell as Megamind will always be one of my favorites, should've at least been an honorable mention because that character has so much personality and attitude. Plus the accent Ferrell gave him was great
The best part is when he was voicing the part where he’s going to pack essentials and the picture part, it made the legendary and late Robin Williams laugh.
Although Tom Hanks has done previous movies, but just hearing his voice only reminds me of Woody. No matter what movies after the first Toy Story I just see and hear Woody.
Vincent Pryce as Ratigan in the Great Mouse Detective. It was one of his favourite roles and got so into the performance during recording that a lot of Ratigan's movements and facial expressions in the final film were based on Pryce's.
It still baffles me that not only were they actually able to make a great animated trilogy, but they somehow made an animated trilogy that got better with each movie
you can tell yzma belongs on that list when you have to go hard just to quote one of her most memorable lines. "i know! i'll turn him into a flea. a harmless little flea. and then i'll put that flea in a box, then i'll put that box inside another box, then i'll mail that box to myself. and when it arrives - *AHAHAHAHAHAHA - I'LL SMASH IT WITH A HAMMER!!"*
that entire movie went so hard, because of the filming/recording method they used. They acted out the entire movie on set with headsets on to record their lines, basically the recipe for the most masterful voice performance was used by every single actor!
These voice actors put so much effort into their performances of these roles that you could swear that they actually became the characters as they were voicing them! That's what dedication to acting is all about!
I really wanna be this type of voice actor, just someone who's not afraid to go above and beyond for the sake of entertainment. I'm well aware of the difficulties I'd definitely have just trying to get hired for roles like these, but honestly I'm willing to work for a chance to be someone like these guys
yeah sadly it was always difficult to get into voice acting and since studios have turned to already-big-names to draw in audiences for animated films, it's even moreso. you'd probably have better odds of becoming a famous movie star THEN parlaying that into voice acting than getting into voice acting out of the gate.
This should've been a Top 20 instead of Top 10 list because there are many other vocal performances that deserve to be recognized. And if I were you guys, I'd definitely include Brian Murray as John Silver in the underrated Disney masterpiece, Treasure Planet. His role as the cutthroat, ruthless, menacing, and villainous cyborg pirate with a heart of gold was just one of the many, many reasons why TP's such an awesome and unforgettable film. He brought so much life, charm, intensity, and energy into the character that he should be named a Disney Legend for that role alone, even though he passed away. But once again, you didn't bother for obvious and biased reasons. 😤 EDIT: Vincent Price as Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective should've also been on here.
Sarah Silverman as Vanellope in the wreck it ralph movies. She went hard during the broken karted scene in the first film and in the sequel she also had to sing in that voice which is hard to do
My favorite voice actor is definetily Jeremy Irons as Scar. Happy sunday Ms Mojo and i hope to see you soon for more. Take care and God bless you, see you soon, and, greetings from Colombia.
I remember the Swan Princess! It was one of my favorite movies as a kid! HOW DID I NOT KNOW JOHN CLEESE WAS THE VOICE OF JOHN-BOB!!!????? Especially when I only watched it again a few years ago?!!
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; Flushed Away is massively underrated! I laugh every time I watch it. It’s definitely in my top ten favourite films!
I like the two voice actors are Thomas Middleditch and Ben Schwartz, Harold from Captain Underpants and Sonic the Hedgehog. In 2022 Thomas and Ben as two guinea pigs Keith and Mark from DC League of Super Pets
What's this? Robin Williams as the Genie is not on a voice-acting list by Mojo? Which means he's not number one for the millionth time? I'm both pleasantly surprised and glad that you didn't pander and conform to popular opinion by both including and especially ranking the usual top choice, this time.
As iconic JB is with Po from KFP him as Bowser in the Mario Movie was nothing but LEGENDARY!! He had the time of his life voicing as our loveable fire breathing Koopa and his song Peaches? Chef's Kiss!🤌❤
Kung fu panda was funny cause it had the Chinese film industry beating their heads on bamboo trees for not even doing the kung fun battle on the bridge scene first (with the bridge being part of the actual fight itself). Eartha Kitt as well especially when Yzma becomes Kitty Yzma as even Eartha herself was taken by surprise but took it all in stride.
Unbelievable that I had to scroll so far to find this. Shere Khan is probably my favorite cartoon villain because of that voice. Maybe it's too old for people to remember?
If you do a top 20 list (including tv voice roles), please include Vincent Price as Professor Ratigan, James Woods as Hades, Mark Hamill as the Joker, and Adam Lambert as the Devil in the series "A Tale Dark and Grimm"!
Emily Blunt as Tempest Shadow in My Little Pony: The Movie (2017). The regular cast are all veteran voice actresses who by the time of the movie were already several years deep in those roles, which only makes it more impressive how well was Blunt able to hang with them as the villain. If you close your eyes, you can still vividly imagine what her character's mood and facial expression is. Oh, and then there's the song.
I think Dom DeLuise as Itchy should be on the list or unless an honorable mention because it's probably his best performances ever, especially when he has his speech with Charlie after he got beaten up by Carface.
I was surprised by number one, but I can't deny Iago deserves some love. I was expecting the iconic Robin Williams, but we all know he's a star at this.
I'm sorry, solid listing but it's a crime that Robin Williams as Genie wasn't on here, let alone even an honorable mention. I was going through the whole movie and listing and saying "ok he has to be in the top 3"..... good choices in the top 3 but Robin needed to be in there
Keith David as Sgt. Foley in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was perfect and went incredibly hard, doing a masterful performance in selling a Sgt leading the charge in defending America from a wide scale Russian invasion as WW3 commenced. Accompanying his performance with the masterful audio design and work that went into the game, that remains to be the best in the entire franchise's history, it gives the best example of a dreadful, hopeless, chaotic atmosphere we've ever seen done in video gaming when playing through the ranger missions in that legendary game. Every voice actor in that game went hard, especially the likes of Billy Murray (the definitive Captain Price), Kevin McKidd as Soap, Roman Varshavsky as Makarov, and Barry Pepper as corporal Dunn (most underrated voice acted performance in any video game btw,) to create the second best game in the franchise's history, but Keith David went above and beyond in his role that's still fondly remembered by fans like me after so many years later from the game's release.
Jeremy Irons doing Scar always reminded me of a late great actor named George Sanders who voiced Shere Khan in the original animated Jungle Book movie.
Oh yeah ther are actors who really got into the skin of the character, in my opninion, the best were: Gilbert Gottfried as Thiago, the most comic, Angela Lansbury, Eddie Murphy as the funny Mushu, Tom Hanks as Woody, but do you forget Robin Williams as the Genie and Nathan Lane as Timon?
This video is a perfect example of why I was mad when they didn't recast Jeremy Irons as Scar in the live action Lion King! I get what they were going for, but Scar, Mufasa (which they correctly left James Earl Jones), Timon, and Pumba were iconic voices that brought the characters to life! They should never have changed Irons, Nathan Lane, and Ernie Sabella!
How about a Top 10 list of "Top 10 Times Watch/Ms Mojo Put Out A Pointless 'Didn't Have To Go That Hard' List"? Seriously, this is borderline overkill.

jack black as po from kung fu panda
David thewils have an amazing villain voice in the amazing maurice
Wish you guys had included the late, great Tony Jay in this...
I am normally in full agreement with your top 10 lists but IMHO 2 things please:
1. Scar is easily top 5

Cause of these two, the “Wrong Lever!” gag never gets old.
@@9386AliG Hard to believe they were recording alone at the time.
i lost it when she yelled "GUAAAAAAAAAARDS!!!" then her headphone fell off her head, lmao. She's so extra and im here for it
agreed
Robin Williams as Genie
I came here just for this, if it wasn't on here I was gonna place it
I mean…you’d have to be out of your goddamn mind if you thought anyone ELSE deserved the Number One spot, in all honesty…

Jack Black always kicks ass, no matter what role he’s in.
He was so badass as Bowser in the Mario movie.😎
He's epic as po
.... or what Instrument he's playing😁
Will Ferrell as Megamind will always be one of my favorites, should've at least been an honorable mention because that character has so much personality and attitude. Plus the accent Ferrell gave him was great
i'm honestly not the biggest Ferrell fan, but I adore Megamind
RIP Gilbert Gottfried. Miss his iconic voice so much. 😞
Gary Oldmans performance as Shen in Kung Fu Panda 2 is so often forgotten, and my god he knocked it out of the park.
This should've been on the list, he adds real menace, and unseen darkness.
Shen is one of my favourite villains because of his performance.
Gary Oldman always kills his parts, from shen to reznov to Sirius black
I know it's not a cartoon but you can't forget Eartha Kitt as one of the women that played Catwoman on the '60's tv show.
It's official. You can't talk about Eartha Kitt's performance as Yzma without bringing up the "WRONG LEVER!" scene.
Why do we even have that lever
The dynamic between Eartha Kitt and Patrick Warburton was epic. She was amazing as Yama
I think you mean Yzma,
Vincent Pryce as Ratigan in the Great Mouse Detective. It was one of his favourite roles and got so into the performance during recording that a lot of Ratigan's movements and facial expressions in the final film were based on Pryce's.
he should have won the Oscar for best voice over - brillant.
YASSSSS
Pryce?
Robin Williams voicing Genie is the best voice-over ever done in the history of cinema🙏
Ok, we get it. We really don't need to be told the same things about him over and over and over again. It's already gotten so old and predictable. 🙄
@@1992disney it's just a comment, relax.👍

I personally feel like either Gerard Butler as Stoick or Jay Baruchel as Hiccup should have been mentioned. Both castings could not be more perfect.
You should’ve mentioned that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s daughter still doesn’t believe he played Maui 😂
Johnny Depp as Rango is another voice performance that didn't have to go that hard
I really thought Rango would be in number one spot
Rango is my favorite animated movie of all time, the world building, art design, performances, everything in that movie is brilliant.
Rango is a masterpiece and has no reason in being as good as it is
that entire movie went so hard, because of the filming/recording method they used. They acted out the entire movie on set with headsets on to record their lines, basically the recipe for the most masterful voice performance was used by every single actor!

Jack Black as Po is great and everything.
But lets take this time to talk about how freaking amazing this guy proved me wrong with his Bowser Voice

I love Ashley Tisdale's voice acting on phineas and verb. she makes Candace so dramatic it's hilarious
Unpopular opinion: Michelle Pfeiffer as Eris, Goddess of Chaos, evokes natural seductive flare and sinister glee to the role
Sarah Silverman as Vanellope in the wreck it ralph movies. She went hard during the broken karted scene in the first film and in the sequel she also had to sing in that voice which is hard to do
Robin Williams as the Genie in Aladdin. No one else comes close
I can’t choose between shark or monster’s inc. the actors are just super hilarious in both movie’s. Thank you Disney for them.
My favorite voice actor is definetily Jeremy Irons as Scar. Happy sunday Ms Mojo and i hope to see you soon for more. Take care and God bless you, see you soon, and, greetings from Colombia.

RIP Angela Lansbury. I miss her.
I'm crying. This whole video is my childhood!
My favorite voice acting Legend is Rob Paulsen
Solid list!!
As iconic JB is with Po from KFP him as Bowser in the Mario Movie was nothing but LEGENDARY!! He had the time of his life voicing as our loveable fire breathing Koopa and his song Peaches? Chef's Kiss!🤌❤
"Peaches"
-Jack Black
I swear, whatever Jack Black is in, he looks and sounds like he's having more fun than anyone else.
I've gone all these years never realizing Gandalf the Grey voiced a Frog Villain in a flushed rat movie, amazing ❤❤

RIP Brittany Murphy. She was phenomenally talented. From "Clueless" to "Happy Feet". I miss everything she was, and all that she was destined to be. ❤
John Cleese as Jean Bob
Jeremy Irons as Scar
Steve Carell as Gru
Eartha Kitt as Yzma is my favorite.
If only they had made "Kingdom of the Sun" because I really love listening to 🎵Snuff Out the Light🎵
Great job of a performance!
Going that hard is exactly what we needed.
The put that thing back were it came from or so help me part gets me every time!
I learned a few things today! Eartha's Santa Baby will never be the same again (now I want a Yzma version 😂) and Gilbert Gottfried as the Aflac duck😱
You might want to add another Jack Black entry. He did fantastic as Bowser
I love watching these ❤
If you do a top 20 list (including tv voice roles), please include Vincent Price as Professor Ratigan, James Woods as Hades, Mark Hamill as the Joker, and Adam Lambert as the Devil in the series "A Tale Dark and Grimm"!
I think Moana deserves more than honorable mention. But I don't know who I'd cut.

Every single performance in Arcane.
Keith David as Dr. Facilier y’all forgot about him!!!!
Yeah, this is a good list! Give the right voice to the right character, and something special happens….
Vincent Price as Professor Ratigan in Basil the Great Mouse Detective,
Kevin James as Otis in Barnyard
Pat Caroll as Ursula in The Little Mermaid.
I think Dom DeLuise as Itchy should be on the list or unless an honorable mention because it's probably his best performances ever, especially when he has his speech with Charlie after he got beaten up by Carface.
Oof. Yes. I'd also nominate his role as Tiger in the 'An American Tail' franchise. SO. QUOTABLE!
Same goes for Burt Reynolds as Charlie. It helps that most of their dialogue was ad libbed.

I can't believe you left out the fact that Eartha Kitt was the first African-American Catwoman!!
Jonah Hill as Titan in Megamind was soooo good for me. You can feel the character in his voice
I agree... they casted his voice perfectly for the character
Jeremy Irons doing Scar always reminded me of a late great actor named George Sanders who voiced Shere Khan in the original animated Jungle Book movie.
Reese Witherspoon as Rosita
🎙️ "Sing" (2016)

James Woods - Hades
Patrick Warburton - Kronk
Mike Myers - Shrek
My number one pick wloud be Line manaul Miranda as Vivo relly das keep the beat and keeps one rockin playing his character

Shia Labeouf as Cody Maverick
Kind of surprised that Frollo from Hunchback of Notre Dame isn't on here. He's super over the top with his villainy and descent into obsession.
Gilbert Gottfried also Voiced Digit on the PBS Kids Show Cyberchase
the Number 5 and 2 are my favourites. I love Kung Fu Panda and Shrek.
Jeremy Irons definitely deserves a higher spot on that list. And where is Robin Williams?
