Honestly, it was closer then I expected. Proud of Serbia and the team as this is first game against serious opponent for most of the young players in the team and they are holding themselves really well, much better then I expected. Go go go 🇷🇸🇷🇸🇷🇸Congratulations to France, they are top team 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

I really enjoyed this match. It was just simply breathtaking. The enthusiasm from the Serbians really gave me energetic feeling. Unfortunately they lost because the service from the French players were just too good.
Attacks from the Serbian side were far more effective, that’s why the French had to rely on their service.

Meljanac was in fire at the beginning, Peric followed... but France was way too dominant in service/reception !!
They controlled the game quite well despite the Serbian will and power, sometimes playing too easy, but when they focused calmly it's so strong...
An enjoyable match to watch though, lot of energy from the Serbian side and strange and funny plays by the frenchmen.

Dont know why small nation like Serbia are good in sports: volleyball, basketball, football, handball, tennis, etc. Compare to Big nation like India

Because they decided to developp sport for political reasons during Yugoslavia era and managed to keep a good structuration after 2000. It's basic soft power.
In India, they never choose to articulate something with sports, it's not part of the cultural vision.
It was the same in China, until the beginning of XXIe century, when they decided to become first for the Beijing Olympics, and focused specifically for this...

Im 5'7 .....will i ever in my life be able to spike a volleyball .. my vertical is 290 cm ....ive tried many times spiking but i always hit it into the net ....i have a very bad hand and eye coordination ....how can i improve it.....it feels depressing to me cuz some guys tell me that I'll never be able to spike a volleyball....🙁
In this match Serbian team has a lot to learn...Ues france lost in the first set because France understimated Serbia in the 1st set... France recovered and did their best to translate almost every one of their attacks in a point...and attacks doesn't have to be hard core we have to learn that attacks should be executed with finness, accuracy amd intetionality, Yes hard core power and sheer strenght is needed but tgere are efficient ways to put the ball or make the ball bounce in the court making hands of the opponent touch tge ball and go out.
Yeah and France was playing with 1st team, Serbia was playing with 7th 😂

Everyone has a friend in Serbia. But this is not why pretty much all players look relaxed.
He has a lover in Serbia.
The more competitve the match the better/more effort he puts into the match. If this was a semis of finals he would be on fire as usual. But these opening matches doesn't require that of him. When they face Brazil and the USA we will see more "serious" Ngapeth.
