Honestly, as a volleyball’s fan i dont get it when people tell that is a team A or B, only because one or two players do not play. Although you realised everyone is playing and trying to fix your own game, so this mix show us Servia wins France, and no if that players do not played could’ been done differently.

@@TheRafik1972 But if he had a serbian wife he would still not playing for Serbia. Because serbian public and serbian volleyball federation will never call Leon to play for Serbia. He is great player but you know people want to look only people born in Serbia or someonne who has serbian roots. And not naturalised players. So it is good Poland can use Leon.

Everyone underestimates us. Yes we have 3 players that play the starting 6 who are injured but bro we are European Champions.
they lost one match to poland already and Poland lost to slovenia, serbia won against slovenia its all a circle, matches this time have almost random winners because all teams are strong.

I'm all for Serbia winning but this should've been a three-set victory by France. The Serbians were making way too many errors and if it weren't for Ngapeth sitting out sets 3-5, I think the result would have been different. Laurent Tillie should've put Ngapeth back in the fourth set. The Louati, Roussard and Lyneel combo obviously wasn't working. Kudos to Serbia though for capitalizing on the opportunity. Now all teams have at least one loss.
What shocked me is that Stephen Boyer & Earvin Ngapeth are playing together again. 😳

Unfortunately not.We won't compete in Tokyo but we still have Olympic Gold medal which we won in Sydney 2000.

FIFA, FIBA, FIVB and others consider those medals as Serbia's.
Head coach Slobodan Kovac was a member of that team which won Olympic Gold 21 years ago.
@@milostomic8539 I know, but to certain point it is a new federation and new National team. So Yugoslavia is a mixed up of people competing in 2000 Sydney. So, don't discredit other people from its partner in winning those medals

Congrats to Serbia. I just hate the decision making of France's coach during 3rd to 5th set of still experimenting his first 6 to play on court even if it's not working against the opponent. Why can't he just put the same line up he used during Brazil match. Where's Ngapeth? Tillie? Patry? I have to admit that Patry is better than Boyer now, he should be the one playing on court instead of Boyer.
Yeah Patry is better and he's much taller too. The lineup versus Brazil is definitely the team's strongest.
Patry and Tillie are getting their rest for the 5 week long competition.
Tillie is the worst out of any OHs they have.
@@user-jh9bi9el1t Tillie may not be as good as Ngapeth, but he's the best option for OH2 among others in French team. Maybe not that much of an explosive hitter, but one thing's for sure, he's a very good defensive player and can still able to score.

Why did Earvin Ngapeth played only 2 sets? Generally I see many changes on the roasters of the teams.. Is any specific rule about that?
I was watching live in Serbia and the announcer said he has some type of medical problems so apparently that's why he didn't play.

The game felt like France didn't really care to play against Serbia like what they did yesterday with Brazil. Could that be because Brazil is a Olympic contender and Serbia isn't so they throw the game and test the water with them.
When ngapeth off, the France lose.

Serbia had in first 2 sets 5 more errors than France while Ngapeth was in the game, which means if Serbia would make at least 3 less errors they would win both sets.

Sometimes teams uses strategy of losing the match to a inferior team to get rid of teams that more of a threat in reaching the finals.
