    If you put 110v in 220v psu, it will work but as soon as you simply turn on the psu, the X and Y condenser will explode, then the diode bridge (also known as full bridge rectifier) will melt due to higher ampere consumption and then some of the motherboard's condensers might explode too, so it is generally not a great idea. There's why there are switching power supplies that can input a 100v-240v without any problems (it requires a PFC even a passive one to automatically switch between the 2 modes).

    Can you tell me what is the maximum consumption in wattage for DL360 Gen 10 servers? I believe 800 W power supply may be there but actual consumption of server would be much lower may be 400 W.

      @@cloudninjas no, it is a celeron 2.66ghz on a pga motherboard with a really big audio card
