Kenner's Man Of Steel collection from 1995 was probably the first line of figures devoted solely to Superman. It was also the beginning of an explosion of variants, outfits, and play action features that have saturated the toy market since, starting the trend a few years earlier with Kenner's own Dark Knight collection for Batman. Before this, owning every single Superman figure which probably numbered under two dozen from his inception in 1938 was an attainable dream.

I had this as a kid! In my opinion one of the best Superman figures ever.

Great figure. Came out back when you could still count how many superman figures were ever made. Still in that sweet spot for me when the figure was still a toy instead of an adult collectible.

yup. I bought this one for myself years ago when it was new. I picked this one cuz it wasn't weird. you're right; since then, they're all just weird. 😒
my Son and I recently watched Superman the movie and I gave him this figure. he loves it, and flies him all around the house 😁😎👍🥰

I place the mid 90's to when toys stopped being strictly for kids and to have a manageable collection of your favorite character.

My mom bought me this figure at Hills back in the day...💁‍♂️ I always thought this Superman figure was the best one ever...💯✔ Then years later when I was at a flea market this figure was there and mint on card, I bought it to hang on my wall and with the thought that one day it would be worth💵money...🤪...but I was wrong...😕

The flea market stuff never has a lot of monetary value but is rich in sentimental value.
