Depending on if you collect variants or not there are a ton more from when Total Justice switched it's name to JLA

Yes I've seen some of those, that would bloat the collection but I may go for it for a few extra characters some like like Martian Manhunter and such. I got some tail end stuff like that for the MAN OF STEEL line also: th-cam.com/play/PLkVjD6XP11Vr5pG0Nf0SUmJhKDD2NrsIW.html

This was my first exposure to DC Superhero toys when I was a kid, as I have never seen Kenner Super powers figures until I was well into my adult years where I lived in the Philippines.

People forget that often the newest in the store is the first for the youngest generation. I saw old pictures of Super Powers and wanted them, but these were in stores so they were my Justice League for sure, and I was glad for the chance at them.

1997 was also the year that the Warner Bros. cartoon shorts after 1948 started airing on 3 Turner networks (including Cartoon Network), after Time Warner (now Warner Bros. Discovery) acquired Turner Broadcasting System (now Warner Bros. Discovery Networks) on October 10, 1996.

Ya got me, i never know such figures existed 😭 they are all so cool and very 90s.
They lowkey remind of those marvel/dc comic crossovers they were doing around this time.
    Yk, Stan Lee's DC Universe?

I sadly never got to read any real comics so I have very limited knowledge of them from any time. But yes, that 90's style that left me wishing they were more normal stance for play back then, is GREAT to see now that I just display them.

I was 15 when I saw these in a KB toys. Saw a couple I wanted but i knew my Dad would roast TF outta me because of how old I was. 🤣🤣🤣

I kind of hate that attitude but that was reality. They really were starting to make them as collectibles here though. I was "too old" for toys when Pokémon was popular and bought the figures anyway because I liked to have them. I tried not to care what anyone else thought but it's not always that easy.

I had every one of these. Think the only villians were Parrelax, Despero, and Darkseid.
    Thanks for the memories.

Seems to be the only 3. And I'm glad to hear it, that's why I like putting these videos together.
I do have a video about the rest of the figures with Darkseid and Despero: th-cam.com/video/0c61YsXsbq4/w-d-xo.html

Imagine what a Shazam or cyborg figure in this line would’ve looked like? Probably a rights issue

Maybe more budget to doing more, and I think these characters had more going on in the comics at the time which is why they were chosen.
But I never found these back then anyway so no matter who they made I wouldn't have got to play with them, doh!

I dig DC and this is a fun watch. Total Justice action figures has very limited articulations in favor of poses. I like the weapons albeit very huge!

I was into "The Centurions" reruns at this time so the snap on armor was very cool to me, like they summon weapon upgrades during a fight. And you can still take it off and have the normal super hero underneath.

There was a rights issue with Wonder Woman. They designed one but couldn't release her until later in the 90s (JSA). @ The Toy Armada with Aaron Archer has the full story

Sad reason when it's just technical.
