not just cam correct it has the feul tech system ..im gonna buy one next week would love few upgrades and not sure if i should unlock the ecu or do what you did .i know the cam is about 799 and the feul tech is 3000

Does anyone know where to get that rear camera fitting that goes in the rear access panel? It sticks up and I saw he put the camera pole in it.
This video makes me want to sell my 23gtx 300 and upgrade to the 325. Every time i watch a calas video my bank account gets nervous.

The cam in the 325 is the 170hp model cam. It’s not the 300 engine cam.
Yes that's correct. The part of the video that mentions similarities to the 300 cam were related to the install process...
Guess I’m selling my 2020 RTX 300 and 2009 RXPX 255 and buying the 325!
The acceleration from a holeshot seems to dead hook and there was no cavitation at all. I see the fuel level was half way. I can see it hitting 90mph on lower fuel levels

The ski gained around 3 MPH and a ton of acceleration from adding the Calas camshaft
Did you change the tune also?
Yes the tune needs to change with a Cam. It's a lot more air coming inside the combustion chamber

Yes
I just got an 2024 rxtx 325, had it tuned or limiter removed, does 79 could get 80 or 81 on a lake like you guys, im interested in putting a calas cam in mine. What would that do? And where are you located, i would love for you to do my cam and retainers, thnx in advance. Im located in Clearwater fl.
You would need to tune it. Right now the only way is to do a fueltech or motec computer.
@@DessiLu14 i thought he said he was stock other than cam and retainers, i must of not got that part, so a cam wont help with a stock computer without the limiter, ok thnx
Sorry, but if you put a cam, you have to tune your jetski and the only way to tune it now is with a fuelTech
If you put a Cam on any motor, it needs to be tuned.
@@robgau4907he said over and over the ski has a Fueltech. That’s an ECU swap so it can be tuned. Then it got cam, springs and retainers. Nothing else is modified on the ski.

How much for the 170/325 oem cam?
I'll take it.....I'll put it in a 230
If you can’t find one, look for a 628 or 629 cam. They’re hotter than the 215-300 cam but not as hot as the 170/325. Bonus is they’re old and cheap.

L0l seadoo builds for a balance of everything. Yamaha has always been race engaged and inspired, so yeah, there gonna be more focused on speed rather than engine longevity. Same reason why seado get better gas milage 2 different Motors and 2 companies with different mindsets on building
