FuelTech made the First 2024 Sea-Doo 325 Plug-N-Play standalone ECU | Fizzle Racing at Hydrodrags

- Fizzle Racing’s new 2024 Sea Doo 325 came to us with a challenge: replace the untunable factory ECU with our FT600 ECU, and deliver it to Hydrodrags US National World Championships in 1 week!
On October 5th, 2023 the brand new PWC was delivered to the FuelTech shop and the clock was ticking. Within a few hours the OEM ECU had been replaced with our FT600 and the 325 was running, but we had to invest a lot of time over the remaining 6 days to fully understand the more complex CAN bus communication with the OEM dashboard, gauge cluster, and IBR module as Sea Doo introduced new protocols for the 325.
Our hard work paid off and the 325’s new integrated wideband O2 sensor made it easier to adjust fuel and timing. As the new model has a higher fuel pressure, 90psi, than the 300 model, 58psi, we had to reduce the duty cycle by about 20%. In our initial testing, we’ve seen 8,300 rpm at 15psi reaching 81 mph using 75% injector duty cycle. Not bad for a PWC with 0 hours and a full gas tank at Northern Georgia elevation! We took the new Sea Doo to Hydrodrags and Angelica ended up racing it!
The FuelTech FT550 plug and play harness is immediately available for the 2024+ Sea Doo 325 and it will use a FT550 ECU and one wideband conditioner NanoPRO to run the stock o2 sensor and a 3 channel OEM igniter module or a FuelTech SparkPRO-3 igniter module which is an improvement.

81 from just a retune is mental. When stage 3 kits start coming out for these skis, everything else is gonna be left in the wake. That was really quick to figure out the new ECU, well done guys!

I respect the new 325 development. After all, competition improves the breed. But let's not get too excited as this " with only a retune" excitement has been the case for GP 1800 for a few years now.
This is awesome and not to mention the fastest Jetski in the world is running fueltech.

There's a certain turbo LS ski, as well as JP's 1300hp+ ski I that would day otherwise

81 at 8300 rpm, nice! This new engine should be safe to at least 9k, maybe even 9,250 stock, that would be 88-90 mph stock motor and impeller which is nuts, I wonder if the compressor will keep up.
That's y its locked from factory.
With a Calas cam they already got it to 93 mph at 9300 rpms

is that ecu alone or other add ons..i have a 2023 vx cruiser with 1800..do u have a plug n play for it without any other add ons and what power increase..also how much reliability in long run?

This new locked Bosch ECU has to really hurt places like Riva who have made their business centered around selling performance packages that require ECU reflashes.

Huh? Standalone ECU’s have been around since the dinosaurs. Fueltech and Motec are big players with Seadoo and have been for years.
Sued by who? Sea-doo doesnt care, replacing the ECU voids warranty and they have already made the sale. They said outright that they were targeting the racing world with this redesign, they want this to happen.
