I’m about to do my 2018 NA. It was done by the original owner around 100,000. She’s currently at 112,00 and will receive this every year. Thanks for the video.
I am about to do fluid changes on both my 2010 flex and my 2015 SHO. The flex had a new PTU and rebuilt transmission at 127K. It now has 172K. I tow a pop-up with it occasionally so the change in fluid is warranted. Also the Diff fluid will be changed along with the PTU and tranny. The SHO has 77k, mostly highway miles and will get the same treatment. Keep up with the great content :)
Excellent Video, great humor, and honesty. This is very important if you want longevity. There are theories that using the vacuum method of removing all the fluid can cause concern with high mileage vehicles. This is the safer method with high mileage vehicles.
whats all that fluid on the bottom of the transmission case? ive got the same on mine that looks like its coming from a weep hole? Cant tell if its oil or transmission fluid or what.
On mine I think the seal between the two cases of the transmission is starting to leak. Or it could be the rear main seal of the ecoboost engine going out
The procedure I followed here should be the same for any 6F50/6F55 Transmisson from Ford.- that is a long list of vehicles.
Great video. About to do this fluid change and this video is a good insight. By the way nice i3, we have a ‘17 Rex and love it.
Hey Ford, thanks for making me take things apart to even get to the dipstick...
You get a dipstick. Be happy about it, they’re taking them away.
@@alexflosho be happy it sucks instead of sucking more? The beatings will continue until morale improves?

I need to do my ptu and rear dif. They haven't been done since I filmed doing them. But between then and now- it's only been about 25k ish miles.

Awesome video dude. Thank you.
The fluid looks really clean. I would wait 50k miles and see if it was any dirtier.
Cool guy👏🏼
