I feel like this is going to have a positive impact even for PCVR. We could definitely use haptic feedback as a standard feature regardless of the platform used.
bro, it is unlikely that we will ever see Vr with feedback in Vr controllers on the PC. Sony patented feedback in triggers, now only they can do it 😥. Nooooo! This does not prevent some cool people from developing a program for connecting Psvr2 controllers to PC 😁
@@Young69Liar That's just in triggers though. At least, in the future, if companies start producing haptic gloves as the new controller in VR, then that'll be a separate technology

They already showed games using foveated rendering. Focusing more rendering time on the areas that you are looking at since only a small part of our vision is actually sharp. Definitely requires low latency, high frame rates to use this tech and it enables high framerates with high quality graphics as a result. PSVR 2 games were described as looking much better than current high end PC VR...
Framerate won't be an issue. I don't think Sony wants anything out of the door less than what the specs of what this thing are to keep people from getting sick. So 90 or 120.
Eye tracking + foveated rendering will allow the PS5 to punch way above its spec in PSVR 2. People have to be aware of the significant performance advantage that these features provide.
Finally someone is making big changes in the VR game. Back then, it felt like I'm missing out a lot if I used PSVR 1 but now using Meta Quest or Valve Index would feel like missing out compared to PSVR 2
@@Purified1k what did you want then? A full on mocap suit for 700$? Now granted pc is infinitely better for vr gaming and the market is actually free unlike Playstation vr, which is very restricted, but that's a whole other argument I'm not getting into...
@@iansantiago6526 Dude this PSVR 2 VR is literally quest 2.5 with the eye adaption feature. They've been working on this for years. There are new headsets in the works today that seem to be way superior over this and quest 2. Like Pico 4. Not to mention there is a mod in development to play all unreal engine games in VR. It's kinda unimpressive with this amount of time. And your probably only gonna be able to use it on PlayStation which would make it even more useless.
@@Purified1k maby you try to build a Vr headset to your needs and only take a few months to build it let alone mass produce it 😂 the eye tracking alone is still very impressive and the new controller features are also very impressive.

VR is truly the future of gaming. If you've never tried VR, this is no gimmick (it's not "just 3D"). You are perceptually "in" the game, completely surrounded by its environment (size, distance, & depth all seem as they would in the real world). The future of gaming.
i think the 4k HDR display is going to make a huge difference as long as it runs at a high framerate
They said it will be up to 120 fps.
90/120
Now this is what i call innovation❤️That’s why Sony is way ahead 💯
Finally someone is making big changes in the VR game. Back then, it felt like I'm missing out a lot if I used PSVR 1 but now using Meta Quest or Valve Index would feel like missing out compared to PSVR 2

That's a whole other 1k just to have a slightly better quality of vr immersion.
