His Master's Voice (HMV) 102

This is a His Master's Voice portable gramophone, model 102, with 5A head, in blue box.
I recently bought it and disassembled it for good cleaning. It's completely original and mechanically in very good condition (It play the 2 sides with one wind =D).
Cosmetically is not perfect. The blue fabric has lost some brightness or maybe has some dirt that I wouldn't be able to clean with regular cleaning products.
Overhaul it has an impressive quality of construction! the chromed parts are still perfect! The sound quality is also very impressive!

I too have the blue HMV 102 that I’ve had for 20 something years and I too want to know how to clean the case! Thank you for making this video…the part that has an arm that stops the turntable at the end of a record has come apart. Now I can try to put it back using your clear recording of these parts.
