I put the 18G3 at 80% with a boost of the bass without problems, the consumption does not exceed 600W peak but I did not try to go up to the limit. And with the ES1203 I increased the volume to 100% without problems.
what's your opinion on this device is it highly worth.it or is this something else that's better for the same price I have been looking at it because I want the loudest stereo I can get my hands on would this be a good investment
For the price it's a very good sound system sounds good the bass kicks ass. If you don't mind the weight and size of the system, absolute buy recommendation.
Outgassing is normal. Be cool. Just avoid crossing 60% volume for first few months.. after breakin period is completed.. blast it off as much as you wish.. but not to the extend where your unit suffers.. max 80-85% gain
Hey Sonny i follow your videos now for quite a long time. I also search for a great and affordable active pa system. Do you know anything about the Omnitronics Maxx 1810 DSP ? It has nearly the same specs as the Dave 18 G3 but only costs about 800 €. Unfortunally there are no tests for this system on youtube. Could you maybe compare these two Systems? I mean its a Lot to ask, but maybe you have heard of it before too. :D Thanks for your answer :)
I do not know this system at all, it is not even available in my country. If you want a cheaper alternative to the Dave 18, the box CL 110/118MKII is a good system
I've found I've had to turn the sub down to more around 9 o'clock and the speakers up to 2 o'clock. Wouldn't go past that though. The balance between the sub and the speakers depends on the room.
Everything is connected to the inverter battery and a car battery is connected to the inverter battery to increase runtime. But it is possible with only the inverter battery.
Neat setup with the Ecoglow River Pro. Since the max peak poweroutput is 1200 Watts, can you give a percentage of volume when the generator cuts out?

yes it is possible there is an XLR output behind the Dave 18 sub, you can add any active sub
I recommend LD stinger 18, it sounds like the dave sub but louder

When i run heavy bass songs on the Ld systems dave18, i can perceive a slightly unpleasant smell on the back. Is that the same with your system?

What is the ideal volume setting on these speakers? I just got mine today and wonder how much you can turn the volumeknobs to be safe
I adjust bass and general volume in the middle, no need for more unless your gain is too low

After owning the kit for 2 months I now have the sub to around 2 a clock and speakers to 1-2 o clock!
