  • Although everything is impermanent and interdependent, our hope involves us in an insatiable pursuit of what we think will make us happy, and our fear of losing what we have makes us terrified of change.
What we really need to do is arrive at a fundamental acceptance of impermanence. Even though they are continually changing and unreliable, we believe that we are thoughts, emotions, and stories. However, the only thing that is constant, unchanging, and reliable, is the clarity of our mind stream.
Whether we are happy or sad, the cognizant quality of our mind is with us throughout our lives, and continues until enlightenment. Even though the world can be difficult, and our lives can be so complex, if we have discovered the inner freedom of the mind, we ourselves can be simple and uncomplicated, and maintain a carefree dignity. We can be at ease and relaxed with everyone, and in every situation.
Through meditation we open to who we really are, and find rest in the basic goodness of the nature of our mind. If we cam trust this clear cognition, then all that is left for us to do is to enjoy our true nature, and discover authentic happiness.

This is his BEST teaching ever and I have been a student for few decades......it has everything you need. His language and feeling are especially clear and strong. He was inspired when he taught.

This lengthy video is worth the watch...if one is seriously concerned about acquiring a tangible and SANE spirituality. Since 2005, I've watched it at least twenty times. It has changed my life. IT CONTAINS ALL THE NECESSARY INGREDIENTS FOR UNDERSTANDING TIBETAN PHILOSOPHY and Buddhist Thought!
Become enlightened. Watch your breath...particularly calm exhalation...throughout the day, and watch your life change as you repeatedly watch THIS LECTURE throughout time in order to understand how these principles truly manifest during your day in a wholesome, beneficial fashion.

'Watched it again. Who's counting...anymore. Whenever I might stray just a bit from the Dharma and the View...I watch this and all becomes so CLEAR again. "The elephant is AT HOME." I can relax...and just...BE. RIGHT HERE...RIGHT NOW. No Hope...No Fear. Emptiness. SUNYATA...

Who knew our minds create suffering. We have no control over our environmet but we can be mindful of how we react. THANK YOU for sharing your Tibetan wisdom with the world.
