Its because media has trained us to have basically no attention spans. If something interesting doesn't happening in the first few seconds of a clip most people turn it off.
He’s as good a comedian and at doing impressions as he’s a songwriter, if not better. On that note, pardon the pun, much of his songs are great impressions of his, mine and the world’s favorite artists.

Never met many famous people, but when I was gigging, I did meet some somewhat famous bands, and the guitarists and bassists were the guys you wanted to hang out with, The drummers are always wild men and the lead singers are either prima donnas or socially awkward. But they have to be obnoxious, to do what they do, so no hate there. Playing at that level, it must be easy to lose touch with reality.
I would have loved to have been there, 2 absolute legends. The Stones though are on a completely different level, apart from Led Zeppelin and Queen no one can touch them.
