Especially funny if you know how Noel talks about having to change the key for Liam and telling people who don't like his versions of old Oasis stuff that he's doing them as they were originally intended.
If you give Noel someone with a sense of humour then he becomes interested in the interview. If you don’t then he gives the same amount of charisma as a dead horse
I disagree! I think Noel is always good, I've yet seen a bad interview with him. I think that when he's not interested, he just nails the interviewer with wit and sarcasm.

I got to meet him once, and asked him to sign my CD of flying birds. He was pretty rude and just snatched it off me. Sorta dissapointing seeing as Id loved him for 14 years.
@@RuptimusPrime I don't think Noel was being rude. Right, if he was, he had a good reason to be! In order to be inspired by something, you need to carry some of its essence in your work. For example, Oasis, Queen, and Pink Floyd - despite being different in style - all were inspired by Paul, John, George, and Ringo, and you can trace that influence. What influence from Oasis can you see in Maroon 5? I mean, Moron 5 (or the Five Morons) represent everything that's shallow, and to say they were influenced by Oasis is an insult to Noel's great songwriting!
@@Maxim89Il I think what you're saying is bullshit, because the bassist said he was inspired by Oasis. He didn't say the band, and specifically the band's songwriting, was inspired by Oasis. Maybe if you isolate the bassline of Oasis songs and Maroon 5 songs you'll see the similarities in their playing? Maybe listening to Oasis was what made him want to pick up bass, even though he has a different style? You can't put such a narrow definition on "being inspired by" something.
Also, as a teen I was a huge Iron Maiden fan and they inspired me to learn how to play guitar. If you look at songs I write today, I doubt you'll find any sign of their influence. I don't even write anything that could even be remotely considered as Metal nowadays. That doesn't mean they didn't inspire me

It depends who you’re talking to. And it has been used for plenty of good like raising money for charity and a load of other things. I despise the stereotypical social media drama and the negativity it shouldn’t be allowed so easily but saying it has only positives or only negatives? That’s not very logical

Oasis - the most underrated band in the world. I mean Rolling Stones magazine does not even have them in top 100 all time best. In my opinion they should be in top 10.

I thought the same as you. I dont ever want to meet Noel even though to me he is a god but if you met him and he fucked you off just like the maroon 5 guy you would be well pissed off lol.
My husband and I discussed this after the last NGHFB concert we attended (Noel blew me a kiss, lol). I wouldn't be able to meet him in person. I have heard he's usually pretty generous to his fans if they're not pushy, but his music has had such an incredibly deep impact on my life that I think it couldn't live up to meeting him. I'd be tongue-tied or blurt out something creepily inappropriate.

Noel is one of my favorite people in the world. Seeing another fan (whose work I love) interview him in a hilarious bit . . . sublime. Jim, I'd ask the same damn question at the end there. Hilarious and delightful and you two just film yourselves talking more. Monthly, at least. It's almost as good as when he riffs with Russel Brand, if not better because Jim is a fan of his as well, rather than a good friend. Is it weird to be jealous of Jim? I think I am.
