I think slum rehabilitation is the only option for Mumbai, and current Fadnavis government is going for it and they also have all the support from central government but slum people are not cooperating as they should By slum rehabilitation, lot of land in Mumbai(33% land) will get Freed from encroachment, it's difficult to move those established industries away from the river but what's possible is to build lot of water and sewage treatment plants on that reclaimed land, which will stop water of mithi river from getting polluted and than only thing BMC will have to do is beautification of the river like Sabarmati riverfront, they can easily do it as they are the richest municipal corporation of India Everything is possible if Mumbai can remove all those slums, it has all the potential to become a truly world class city if only slum dwellers start cooperating

People used to be scared shit of him, who used to do all the tricks in meter to steal electricity, once caught department started giving absurd amount of penalty. Then tax department, everyone just fucking knew they had to pay their taxes. So many other examples are there. His reputation was nothing short of Don (In a good way) , straightened up everyone including all corrupt departments and people too. Right from the get go, he was all business. It was the fear of the non corrupt CM that did the trick for Gujarat. People who are not happy with last 5 years need to understand, Gujarat development did not happen overnight. My point above was, vote him because he is our best bet in the sense that, Modi is non corrupt to his last bone. To judge him on development give him at least 5 more years if not 10.

I'm resident of Pune city. And like Sabarmati river Pune also has one river which passes through the middle of it. And yes outsider will never consider that river as river but gutter and sewage waste. There has lots of scope to develope it. But no one is thinking about that.( Except raj thakrey ) I hope mutha river of Pune as well as mula river get complete transformation like Sabarmati in future.
