- Shannelle preps her staff to help shift Blair’s confidence into gear. Blair has faced body-shaming obstacles when shopping for dresses and hopes Shannelle’s shop will offer a better experience. Another bride, Cathlyn, is coming in for her final dress fitting before her wedding day. She surprises Shannelle by revealing she had some major changes done to her dress. Shannelle is worried that she’s making a rash decision and hopes the look will work. Will Shannelle find the perfect dress for Blair? I love the way she tries different looks and goes a little outside what they say they want, just to find firstly exactly what the bride wants and after that a bride can feel this is exactly what she wants, as she has explored all different options.

I understand the difficult bridal shopping.
I’m a size 14, 6 ft woman and I was told repeatedly “we have nothing for you”, “we could order this for you but you can’t try it on” and “that’ll be an extra 1000$ for your height.” To which I said “eff that noise!”
I never got that special in-store bridal moment but I’m sure glad that these woman can.
Cat looked stunning; definitely the sleeveless dress was amazing on her and she was radiant.

We should support all curvy brides! A wedding is a new beginning. A fresh chance to fully love yourself!! Of course there is no problem being curvy and there is no problem losing weight for health, but nobody should feel less because of their weight.

“You shouldn’t be a bride if you’re this big.” She nailed it. If you’re fat, curvy, overweight, plus-size, you should at least have the decency to spend your life acting and dressing in such a way to make it clear to apologize for yourself, that you understand you don’t deserve what “normal” people deserve.
This woman and her store are a wonderful thing- I wish this attitude had been around when I got married. fabulous and proud and happy is for everyone!
The funny thing is, I liked the first dress the best, the next one was a bit less nice and the last one was the one I liked not at all.. I wonder if no one else thought that? 😢

It was the first fitting, that can be adjusted to mask her belly. Her undergarments will make a huge difference as well.
The last one was very classy. I like that the stylist understood that in your face cleavage isn’t as attractive as a hint of it.
I didn't like the last dress either .. idk it just didn't spark for me .. But she felt comfy so I guess that's all that matters
These dresses are really flattering - l wouldn’t have thought something fitted with sleeves and white could transform a big girl into a curvy, beautiful bride with a figure! Just wonderful, what an achievement, making these lovely girls so beautiful for their big day!
I cried! Blair looked so pretty in the one she chose. So happy she found something she liked and didn't have to settle. Cat looked amazing!! I love this show.

I’m glad they were able to help Blair and she looked very beautiful. Cat making the decision to remove her sleeves was extremely brave and I applaud her decision she looked absolutely fabulous. Cat’s Mom was extremely gracious and paid Shannelle a beautiful complement.
P.S. I love the beautiful pastel/glittery sweater Cat’s friend/sister was wearing!

I was a size 14 when I got married and I had really negative experiences in bridal salons. Lots of rude comments about how I would have to hold up a sample of a dress because there was no way it would fit me etc... I loved my wedding dress but never tried it one because the bridal store that carried it near me had a size 6 sample. I wanted to love dress shopping but it really wasn't a positive experience. Love that Shannelle opened her store!

I liked the 3rd dress the first bride picked. It was def her personality and just so romantic and the style she wanted and made her feel special and bridal! Like, its never about perfection, its about getting married..! Marriage isn't perfect. I hate those insta chic, everything has to look perfect brides, there is no feeling and no love to be quite honest. And I think it was super pretty and will look even better on the day with the hair/makeup, accessories and tailoring and the belt was perfect.
That second dress gave me goosebumps!
This made me tear up a little bit. What an amazing way to help a lady feel like a lady!
No-one should be body shamed , no matter what their size , their wedding day means just as much as it does to a cat walk model, they all deserve to look beautiful. Its wonderful that these type of shops care enough about the people not just the sale.x
I love how they don't only have the typical plus size wedding dresses - corset, A-line, Princess, bling, by that creating the illusion they can wear anything, but only presenting the cliché. No, they got ALL STYLES because you can wear everything at any size. LOVE.

I’m not plus size and I’m self conscious about my weight (I’m not skinny but I’m not plus size) and I know if I ever go wedding shopping I would be nervous so I can’t imagine how these plus size brides feel when they go to these shops that are rude and don’t have anything for them. I love seeing all these new plus size bridal shops so these women can go wedding dress shopping like any other woman.
