I love the owners energy she's very positive and she makes the bride's feel absolutely beautiful which they were. My dress is similar to the last bride's dress with the Bolero a line Satin dress it is so elegant and my dress is in a size 16 I cannot wait to wear it on Valentine's Day

People say that they should lose weight for their wedding I don't agree!! I think people should lose weight because of their health!! In the meantime they should be able to look fabulous in their wedding day!
Not to mention it's so much healthier. We have generations of bald black women because of those ridiculous extensions pulling their scalp hairless. No one believes they are real, nor do they honor true African survivor heritage. At work, I'm surrounded by beautiful young black women who have already lost half their hair from the pressure of the extensions, and now they're scrambling for wigs and wearing bandannas. Such a shame our current culture has taught them this is their only choice.
With the third gown, there was this subtle shift and transformation in Kareen's persona and carriage to one of quiet regality, on top of being beautiful. It was as if she realised that there are many ways to project sexiness and show off the endowments she is so proud of. As for Brianne, her personality is so charming and endearing, and she has such a wonderful attitude towards her wedding preparations (as a means of involving her family and relatives)...
Nailed it! The pearl dress was chic, sophisticated and just enough of sexy, hope she returns to buy it. Brianne is a rock star, loved everything about her!

This woman truly knows her stuff. Finding a gown that looks beautiful on a plus sized woman is hard. She made them look absolutely gorgeous...stunning...if she was around when I got married, Long time ago I would of loved a dress fitting with her.

@She’s so Lucky I did and was in tears. My mom found dresses for me. I looked just like "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". Mom insisted a bone hoop under the dress and I had a Cathedrial train.....LOL.
I love how beautiful these ladies look and feel. And the care the shop owner gives is wonderful! The only thing I'm concerned about is their long-term health. I've lost well over 100 pounds and I know how much better I feel. I had developed arthritis throughout my body and was always in pain, and if I hadn't lost the weight, I'd have been in a wheelchair years ago. I wasn't morbidly obese because all I did was eat - in fact, my problem was that I didn't think enough about food, so I'd go all day without eating and then be ravenous and eat late at night and then go to bed. Not good. I want these ladies to have long, happy lives no matter what they do, but I wish them health so they can enjoy those years.[ I'm 71 and I'm so glad my feet and knees don't have to carry around that extra weight. ] Blessings to both of them.

As a child I wore a 12AA which is extremely narrow! My mother had to take me shopping 🛍 at a store whose main clientele were drag queens! My mother almost fell through the floor when a lady asked me where I got my WORK DONE referring to my breasts! My mother said that they are real. The entire store went quiet 🤫! Fortunately, there is way more choice now but still a really great shopping solution is still a shoe 👠 online store that sell to drag queens because they have style not just functional shoes that you buy because you can’t find something else that you really like!!! The sizes go to sixteen!!!
Your mouth to god's ear. Don't get me wrong, if I wasn't wearing a size 11/12, at over 6ft and busty as hell, I'd tip over, so I don't mind the actual large feet issue. But shoes... ugh. I've had to decide to just save longer and get shoes and boots made to a mold of my own feet, otherwise ripped up feet in ugly shoes is my future.

I ran across this show and I love it so much! I wasn't able to fit into my thrift store designer gown that was worth thousands of dollars, yet costed me $35. My friend added lace with buttons to the back of it and it turned out grand. It's a very humbling and entertaining show to watch as I honor my late husband on our 10th anniversary on the 21st of this month. Plus, we're from Chicago.
ladies, i get it but please do not spend too much on your dress...go with simple and classic and spend on your hair and makeup and under garments . trust me. invite only people who have impacted your life positively. be realistic with bridesmaids and groomsmen. u dont need 5-10. invest in a good dj and menu and decor. the day after means more than your actual wedding day. if you have to take out A LOAN u need to rethink things

Being a young couple we have so many other things to invest in rather than spending all our savings on a wedding . It’s all in the planning . When you invite too many "random" people, you are opening up the occasion for trouble. I've seen a lot of weddings (and wedding videos) ruined by crass, clueless people who are drunk, can't keep their tongues in their mouths during pictures, and started on the food before the bride and groom. That's minor. I'm not even going to talk about the really gross behavior from guests of guests you'll never forget, and will probably have mega-videos of. People can really be stupid. Do some judicious culling, you'll be glad later. Don't waste money on human garbage on your special day.

I don't plan on getting married anytime soon. But whenever I do, I'm really tempted to go to this boutique. The passion/fire the owner has, her sassiness, her energy, and the way she encourages the women to boost their confidence.. I feel like that would be ideal, for any woman (plus sized or not.) (edit): Though, it might be difficult to find that potential dress one day, since I'm 6'2" and I feel like every dress would come halfway up my calf lol.
When I see people fat shaming others (in comments), I ask myself a few questions: 1. Do they say those same things when they see people smoking in videos? Or people enganging in any other self destructive activity. I mean since they are so entitled and think they have a say in everybody's life! 2. Do they know how counterproductive their comments can be for some people? If you really wanna help, look for somebody in your circle, who you can sit with, listen to them. Ask them how you can help. For someone they might just need somebody to just say let's go workout together and for others it might be something deep that needs to heal before a healthy lifestyle can help, or even illnesses that can't be cured,... You saying: there's nothing cute about being fat is really not helping, you might be causing more harm than a bullet could. Really, if you have nothing nice to say just don't say anything!
1. Shaming smokers has been done for several decades now. A modicum a research would have told you this. Doing other drugs and drinking excessively, just like excessive eating, tends to be looked down upon. 2. For some, sure. For others, it may be motivation. Not everyone who makes these types of comments is negative and 'mean'. There are people who this this with loved ones, friends, etc., and it unfortunately tends to fall on deaf ears. The fact that these people are willing to bring this up with those closest to them shows that they are at the very least concerned. Obesity is not comparable to a life-long mental illness. So is literally comparing shooting someone (actually killing someone). That's fucking absurd. If people aren't allowed to have these kinds of opinions, who are you to tell others that they can't? Or that some obese people don't mind talking about these things?
U kno what i find even weirder ....when people who are overweight start shaming smokers . I truly understand if someone has a weight issue due to medications or health problems , depression etc . But being overweight because one cannot control their food habits , and are too lazy too do anything about it when they start noticing that they are piling on those pounds ...naha! Getting to tip the scales doesn’t happen overnight ...it happens over months and years ...so one has ample opportunity to wake up , realise it and start doing something about it before it gets to that unmanageable state when it becomes a health hazard and takes a lot more to shed .

If someone truly accepts Jesus as their lord, they will know that not only are they expected to refrain from judging others, but also that Jesus NEVER EVER said anything suggesting that being LGBTQ is sinful or wrong. They'd also likely care about the fact that Jesus was a reformer and revolutionary whose teachings were intended to REPLACE the old laws, and would therefore not cite Genesis or Leviticus as proof that being LGBTQ is sinful or wrong (which is the common justification among "Christians").
And, on the flip side, those who claim being LBGTQ is sinful and wrong ARE CULTURAL CHRISTIANS. They are not following the teachings of Jesus - they are following the teachings of their own denomination or their own local church, all of which are dictated by other humans, not God. Anti-LGBTQ sentiment in the West is largely due to Victorian attitudes, making it an entirely cultural phenomenon. If your comment was intended to say what I interpreted it as saying, I'm confused about why you think groups of people confirming their own bigotry to each other by claiming it's supported by Jesus (who supported no bigotry, EVER) seem more Christian to you than people actually following the teachings of Jesus.

I ran across this show and I love it so much! I wasn't able to fit into my thrift store designer gown that was worth thousands of dollars, yet costed me $35. My friend added lace with buttons to the back of it and it turned out grand. It's a very humbling and entertaining show to watch as I honor my late husband on our 10th anniversary on the 21st of this month. Plus, we're from Chicago.

ladies, i get it but please do not spend too much on your dress...go with simple and classic and spend on your hair and makeup and under garments . trust me. invite only people who have impacted your life positively. be realistic with bridesmaids and groomsmen. u dont need 5-10. invest in a good dj and menu and decor. the day after means more than your actual wedding day. if you have to take out A LOAN u need to rethink things

When you invite too many "random" people, you are opening up the occasion for trouble. I've seen a lot of weddings (and wedding videos) ruined by crass, clueless people who are drunk, can't keep their tongues in their mouths during pictures, and started on the food before the bride and groom. That's minor. I'm not even going to talk about the really gross behavior from guests of guests you'll never forget, and will probably have mega-videos of. People can really be stupid. Do some judicious culling, you'll be glad later. Don't waste money on human garbage on your special day.

I don't plan on getting married anytime soon. But whenever I do, I'm really tempted to go to this boutique. The passion/fire the owner has, her sassiness, her energy, and the way she encourages the women to boost their confidence.. I feel like that would be ideal, for any woman (plus sized or not.)
(edit): Though, it might be difficult to find that potential dress one day, since I'm 6'2" and I feel like every dress would come halfway up my calf lol.

When I see people fat shaming others (in comments), I ask myself a few questions:
1. Do they say those same things when they see people smoking in videos? Or people enganging in any other self destructive activity. I mean since they are so entitled and think they have a say in everybody's life!
2. Do they know how counterproductive their comments can be for some people?
If you really wanna help, look for somebody in your circle, who you can sit with, listen to them. Ask them how you can help. For someone they might just need somebody to just say let's go workout together and for others it might be something deep that needs to heal before a healthy lifestyle can help, or even illnesses that can't be cured,...
You saying: there's nothing cute about being fat is really not helping, you might be causing more harm than a bullet could.
Really, if you have nothing nice to say just don't say anything!
1. Shaming smokers has been done for several decades now. A modicum a research would have told you this. Doing other drugs and drinking excessively, just like excessive eating, tends to be looked down upon.
2. For some, sure. For others, it may be motivation. Not everyone who makes these types of comments is negative and 'mean'.
There are people who this this with loved ones, friends, etc., and it unfortunately tends to fall on deaf ears. The fact that these people are willing to bring this up with those closest to them shows that they are at the very least concerned. Obesity is not comparable to a life-long mental illness. So is literally comparing shooting someone (actually killing someone). That's fucking absurd. If people aren't allowed to have these kinds of opinions, who are you to tell others that they can't? Or that some obese people don't mind talking about these things?

U kno what i find even weirder ....when people who are overweight start shaming smokers . I truly understand if someone has a weight issue due to medications or health problems , depression etc . But being overweight because one cannot control their food habits , and are too lazy too do anything about it when they start noticing that they are piling on those pounds ...naha! Getting to tip the scales doesn’t happen overnight ...it happens over months and years ...so one has ample opportunity to wake up , realise it and start doing something about it before it gets to that unmanageable state when it becomes a health hazard and takes a lot more to shed .
