Good video Good explanation of the entire process, like seeing limestone and any other stone or rock being loaded and crushed and made into tons of aggregates. Late comments here
Normally use a high carbon steel like ar400, most liners are bolt in. In high abrasion quartzite we go to a hardplate and some higher wear areas we do a rubber/ceramic
I noticed the loader buckets didn’t have teeth. Why no teeth when you’re working with rock? I understand when working with sands but doesn’t the limestone rock wear out the cutting edge of the bucket quickly?
You guys have a nice setup using the overland conveyors. Eliminates extra fuel, maintnance, personal, etc esp in a time where skilled labor in the agg business seems to be non existant.
If it was me I’d have a taller berm for the haul trucks to back into, not over like that one truck did, to prevent an accident. While it means another piece of equipment and another operator, have a D7 or D8 sized Dozer pushing the material over. You’d be making the MSHA inspector very happy.
No explanation of the actual process of screening and crushing.....the screen deck and choice of screens is where the experience and expertise shows....
The heavy metal elevator music is too loud and unpleasant. Sounds like frustrated 13 made the soundtrack. At a minimum, it should be a similar volume to the narrator.
Great video , I learned alot ... thanks for sharing
Glad it was helpful!
Impressive operations John, thanks for sharing
Thanks as always Ryan! we appreciate the support
Wow..love this
Thank you
Love the videos. Awesome job!! Nice equipment and I love seeing all the different sites
Glad you enjoy them Brian! We're excited to show more of our 2023 projects. lots of fun stuff in the works
Awesome production value for such a small channel and such a niche subject. Well done.
Thanks Buck!

@@wdscepaniak Your channel is awesome.
@@SJR_Media_Group thanks Steven
I work in a Limestone quarry in North Wales UK. Great see how you have yours set up. All the best.
Thanks, you too!
Interesting video. I have worked in quarry for long time. I’ve heard of jaw crusher never seen one used.
they're excellent when used in the right application
Wow beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! Cheers!
Do you use wear resistant rubber on the hoppers or is the limestone soft enough for bare metal?
Normally use a high carbon steel like ar400, most liners are
bolt in. In high abrasion quartzite we go to a hardplate and some higher wear areas we do a rubber/ceramic
Have you used rubber backed steel plates or those 20” x 20” rubber with ceramic pads? I would imagine the sound dampening would be advantageous?

This machine ended up here between sand projects and just never got the bucket swapped
We normally go through teeth much faster compared to a cutting edge when comparing same bucket size in the same material
We use that overburden make select fill
Are you in Nebraska
Can crushed limestone aggregate be used for making concrete road ?
Please answer this question brother.
Yes they can
You guys have a nice setup using the overland conveyors. Eliminates extra fuel, maintnance, personal, etc esp in a time where skilled labor in the agg business seems to be non existant.
agreed. conveying is always the best method when possible
Whats the gross weight of the bottom dumpers? Here in NYC were allowed 120k gross. Just curious cause i saw all those axles on the trailers
Most states in the Midwest max out the gross at 80,000. 120 would be nice, get a lot of material moved in a hurry
In this video I believe we were about 105 with these setups
@wdscepaniak ok gotcha. 105 works too when it comes to trying to move alot of material over a long distance
What LED lights do you have on your stackers
I’ll check. Probably just the factory Superior ones
@wdscepaniak I guess I mean the flood lights u have on them for at night looks like they are mounted where the head fold hinges are thanks
That's quite the operation. What's the final price per ton loaded out of the distribution hub?
Crushed and delivered to this project was 20ish
@@wdscepaniak Man, that is cheap!
Granted that’s wholesale contract price for a few hundred thousand tons
Nice video what model Breakers are you using out there
Unsure of the model of the NPK hammer
Thanks for the info Hardest lime stone I've seen
absolutely, thanks for watching

i agree. we had one on site doing just that. he was working on another berm section at the time
I love 💕💕💕 you too
lol
Thats a 992 feeding the crusher not a 988, unless my eyesight is really bad
988H
Can I work with you? I am a professional vehicle operator and driver
Sure

Ill gladly go into more detail on the next ones
video could have been very interesting , but was spoiled by lousy background music and too much jumping from one scene to the next.
ok
Music is WAY WAY louder than the dialogue. Makes for a pretty crappy presentation. Otherwise, it was interesting.
Ok
Sucks having to keep mouse on volume, i usually just click don't recommend channel
video is good but music is toooo loud vs. speaking, turning it down all the time...
I have land limestone

You Americans have the most unconventional truck and trailer setups😂😂😂 Australia is way more advanced
What setups do they run in Australia
Put another shrimp on the barbie
Very unsafe DUMPING
we improved berms that day
Great video, awful music. Too loud, too much, too long. No added value... A pity...
Sorry about that
@@wdscepaniak Thanks for your answer. Just try not to launch torpedoes into your good work...
