For me his is the greatest pianist I ever heard, because his music shows to everybody the heaven, because everybody looks for this heaven which music can give to us. Thanks god for this man!

I'm not really a fan of Chopin, but he plays this with perfect emotion and passion. He really feels it! A perfect performance.

Trifonov has incredible mastery over dynamics and rubato. Just incredible.

@XDSakuraBlossomXD its very interesting how the bit you refer to, seems to evoke certain emotions universally...it really touches you, and takes you back...i guess we owe it to the genius of Chopin.

Концерт состоялся до конкурса Чайковского. Он ещё не знает,что будет лауреатом.Это делает его игру спокойнее и проникновеннее.

The conductor is a famous Polish composer---

This guy is the next Horowitz. He really is. He has all the subtlety of Lang Lang without the narcissistic showiness that Lang Lang indulges in.

Seong-Jin Cho captures the soul of Chopin. Trifonov is second-rate.

I feel bad for the conductor. He's so heavy that he can't even lean over. He needs to go on a diet. Daniil can surely give him some tips! On the other hand, Daniil is in great shape, both physically and in expressing his heart and soul to his listeners.
