@FirstClassThiefRikku THANKS!!!! As you can see by the fact that I don't have a lot of video's...I am still learning this you tube thing! Hopfully, I will continue to get better and be able to share what we do in our store everyday with crafters out there who cannot come spend the day with us! Thanks again for your comments...they made my day! Stacey
@wantamakethat How kind are you....thanks so much! I know when I didn't understand much about inks...some very kind teachers and freinds helped me out. I am glad that I was able to pay it forward as they say! Have a wonderful night.
@aglanceatmyworld Thank you!!! I really had a great time making this video becasue I remember when I didn't understand ink at all!!! Once you get the hang of stamping, you are going to LOVE it! Have fun and we hope you visit our "channel" again!
@clamor6 Hi there! I am so gald that you found this You Tube helpful! As for cleaning your stamps, you can use a stamp cleaner and many companies make them...I however am just as happy using Dawn dishwashing soap and/or a baby wipe! They both work great on rubber and clear stamps, they wont harm the stamps and are less money. You may find that your inks may stain your stamps but that is to be expected, it happens, your stamps will be fine...honest! Thanks again and have a super day!

@FirstClassThiefRikku Hi there...Thanks so much for watching...I know that it was long but I didn't want to leave anything out!!! Hope you were able to find some of it useful and have a super day!
YAY!!! I am so glad to hear this! Just remember...no matter what company make the ink...a dye based ink is a dye based ink and a pigment ink is a pigment ink... So you can have a Colorbox Pigment Ink and a Tsukineko Pigment Ink and they will work the same! Have a super night and thanks so much for your comments! You made my day! Stacey
@gatafierrra Hello to you!!! Thanks so much for subscribing...It is always so nice to get a wonderful comment such as yours! Now....Memento and Archival Inks are not the same...Archival ink is more like a StazOn Ink...think of it like a sharpie marker...permanant! Yes...you can use it on paper...but also on non porous materials. You CANNOT USE Archival with Copic Markers...Memnto however cannot be used on non-porous stuff and is more like an "everyday" ink! Hope that helps!
Finally I found a video that would explain ink pads, even though out there there is still more brands of inks this video was very informative and I have learned something new. Thank you so much!!!!
Thank you sooo much for making this video! I have been wondering what the differences were between ink types since I started stamping 3 yrs. ago. Very well presented and informative.
I cannot express how grateful I am for this video! Thank you! Thank you! I have a set of pigment ink pads I got on clearance - like, 20 colors & I just didn't know HOW to use them. I'm going to see if you have a vid on cleaning stamps - because I'm a little confused on that. Many thanks!!
This was such a helpful review I've pinned it on Pinterest to refer back to later. I was just given a gift basket that was art themed (I'm an Art Journaler) with Chalk and Pigment inks inside. I had not heard of them! I'm excited to try them now :)
thanks so much for a simple, yet informative video! This ink business has been driving me crazy. Now I know why some of my stuff looks good and why some of it does not.
@QUACKmj Hi there...I used basic cardstock...nothing special. What do you mean by a "set" of hero hues Latte Chalk? I want to be sure you are using the same product that we are using! let me know and I will try to help! Thanks so much..
I agree! Wonderful information!! So glad I found this and I subscribed. :) Even the comment posts are helpful!! Keep the info coming ....I live in an area where I live to far from any scrapbook stores, so the only way I can enjoy others tips are from youtube videos. Thank you for sharing :)
I always was so confused about this. Thank you very much! one question can Is Memento water safe? Can I ise it with water color paints or on top of Distress inks without it running if it gets wet?
hi, may i know what brand card stock are you using and how heavy is it? i have a set of hero hues latte chalk ink but it doesn't seem to turn out like yours and i am pretty sad about it. so maybe i was thinking it has to be because of the type of cardstock i'm using? i am from Singapore and it really hard to find good quality cardstock here:( your video was helpful by the way. thanks:)

Thank you so much for sharing, I am trying to learn all this and this is the best video I've seen so far! Thanks!
Hip hip hooray! Now I fully understand inks. Thank you so much.
The letter correlation is brilliant! Now I can remember the different drying speed.
I learned so much. Thanks for sharing and taking your time to teach us.

Hi Stacy great video. I'm new to scrapbooking these was a great video. For the sentiments would you recommend chalk or dye ink?
Thank you very much.
hi, may i know what brand card stock are you using and how heavy is it?
i have a set of hero hues latte chalk ink but it doesn't seem to turn out like yours and i am pretty sad about it. so maybe i was thinking it has to be because of the type of cardstock i'm using?
i am from Singapore and it really hard to find good quality cardstock here:(
your video was helpful by the way. thanks:)
No...I am sorry but a hair dryer wont work. You need to have a heat tool to use embossing powders...a hair dryer will not get hot enough, Thanks.
Well i never! lol thank you soooo much for this valuable info, great video! x
Can i use hair dryer instead of the zap to heat the powder?
Thank you so much!!! It is really helpful :)
@scrapmadesimple It was super helpful thanks so much, keep making great videos! I subscribed to you :]
