    For creating the second paragraph, would you suggest talking about how I got the experience regarding their requirements specifically or would you just suggest saying that you meet a certain requirement because of your part-time position working {example}. thanks this would help clear things up!

    Thank you so much for all of these advice! One question though: as for the research done on the company, should I refer directly to my analytical skills by openly stating that I could potentially improve the conversion rate of the company's blog articles/social media posts in my cover letter?
    Thanks so much, keep on doing such amazing videos.

    • @TheInternHustle
      @TheInternHustle  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have experience improving conversion rates and that is relevant to what the company is looking for in this role, then yes that's great to include in a cover letter. Quantify with specific examples where you can!

    I followed these tips (plus tips from other sites) and ended up with a good cover letter, infact in one of my job interviews one of the interviewers did praise me on my letter because he felt I had written it just for them and it was not generic. I am newly graduated and the job was for a position as an environmental inspector.
    Alas, I did not get the job. They went with "someone more experienced" is what they told me when they turned me down some days later. But it turned out to be a lie! I checked a few months later, they had hired a young man, who had also graduated same year as me. I should have not looked, made me feel so dumb and the way they lied made me lose respect for them. Well, atleast I have a great cover letter!

    I have a question A company providing internships in both HR and market analyst. And I'm currently doing an HR internship in another company and I want to apply for a market analyst in this company should I mention about HR internship in my cover letter and my resume? Also, I'm fresher in college

    • @TheInternHustle
      @TheInternHustle  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pull the most relevant experience from your HR internship that would apply to what the company is looking for in a Market Analyst. Definitely OK to reference your previous internship experience, just keep it relevant to what the company is looking for to help yourself stand out.

    I'm on the fence of writing my cover letter directly inside the email, so not as an attachment. That's because I'm doing kind of an open application (they don't list internships but have lots of open positions) for a quite modern/progressive company. Is this a terrible idea? I feel like people tend to be more drawn to a well-formatted mail than to open an extra attachment...

I already have a pretty good cover letter, but in this case I want tp reach out to a specific person in the company via email. I just hope I will be able to express myself in a way that will capture them. I'm actually very scared to mess it up:(.
    I have no real work experience but I have worked on many projects (environmental engeneering) during my bachelor and masters. I wonder whats the smoothes ways to connect to these projects in a cover letter or personal email?

    No, I do not have the experience, what if they didn't give a job description. Just the email only.

      When there isn't a job description do your best to research the company and speak to their company mission and values. Show them how you are aligned to those values and express a genuine interest in not only the role, but the company.

    Thank you so much! I've applied for a front-end developer internship program in an innovative digital media company and this video helped me a lot! The examples and little creative solutions for problems that many candidates with no experience would face were really helpful. Thank you again!

    Thanks for this video, very helpful, I do have a question though, would it be a good idea to include a failed entrepreneurship experience on the cover letter and resume?

    • @TheInternHustle
      @TheInternHustle  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Glad you enjoyed the video! You want to include what is most relevant to the company you are applying to. If there is a relevant story from your experience in entrepreneurship or you want to explain a gap in other employment on your resume because of the time you spent on the entrepreneurial endeavor, then it could make sense to include it.

    What is the dot space should i put?

    • @TheInternHustle
      @TheInternHustle  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure if I understand your question. If you are referring to the space-holder dots I have on the sample cover letter around the 3:34 minute mark of the video, that is what the rest of the video is all about. I walk you through how to draft up the content to fill in those space-holders, using your own experience, etc.
