New York native and internationally touring stand-up, Andrew Schulz is known for his hilarious and unsafe comedy. He has starred in the sitcom BENDERS (now available on Netflix), can be seen in Amazon’s SNEAKY PETE, HBO’s CRASHING, and on MTV including GUY CODE and GIRL CODE.
In the podcast realm, Schulz can be heard on the wildly popular THE BRILLIANT IDIOTS - co-hosted by nationally syndicated radio and television personality Charlamagne tha God - the hilarious sports commentary podcast FLAGRANT 2, and the film and TV analysis podcast WESTERBROS. He has made major appearances on The Joe Rogan Experience, Bert Kreischer’s BERTCAST, Joey “coco” Diaz The Chuch of What’s Happening Now. He has even done solo interviews with the likes of Lil Duval and many others.
Andrew’s online presence has touched hundreds of millions of people
across the globe and his unconventionally funny approach to the comedy world has launched him into stardome. His shows Dropping In and Inside Jokes will rack of hundreds of thousands of views weekly. Nothing is off limits for Schulz, from sex to race, and even the occasional audience heckler roast, Andrew is hungry to be the best. He can be seen in New York City performing regularly at New York Comedy Club and the Comedy Cellar.
Andrew really be studying about the places he goes cus he nailed Hawaii
He's pretty well-informed in general. His Indian jokes are great and unlike most others he comes across as knowledgeable about that stuff too.
@@Baronnax You can see it from his Dropping In videos. He explores the place a lot prior to the show. I imagine he then prepares a lot of local elements to the area! Really amazing process, and then documenting it all and creating the content, almost as if he's watched and implemented a lot of GaryVee advice ;)
@@Baronnax he is friends with Rohan of course he knows about india
@@monarchgupta2712 also Akash.
Hes keeping the nazi jokes later on his career.
This man has more cultural awareness than most politicians
Thats not that hard

Brah this got me dying, Andrew Shulz, one of the most culturally knowledgeable comedians in this new age.
FUCKIN HIT EM WITH THE WAIANAE JOKE TOO 🤣😂😂😂😂😂
Bruh he does this shit EVERYWHERE!!! I have NO idea how he fuckin does it...
@Kristie C Man, it's hard to know a lot of little local jokes. It shows the effort he puts in. Like every area has the people they rag on, but if you went to Tennessee I'd have no idea what state they joke about - is it Alabama, Arkansas, what?
@@EjvindGEMDark Tennessee makes fun of GA and AL mostly, and the north, and California. Don't forget California. Lol
pretty sure you've never heard of trevor noah
The crowd asking him to stay gave me the chills. I can only imagine how good that feels to hear being a comedian. Beautiful stuff
Hana Hou we say it for concerts too
I was born and raised in Hawaii, born Oahu, Raised on Maui, and I really appreciate that this man took the time and effort to learn about our culture and our history.
Thank you Andrew.
You have zero culture in Ha Siri. ZERO!!! I lived there for 27 years. It’s a racist horrible place full of losers and lazy people.

Kigoz4Life Yous a real life lame commenting on everyone’s comment lmao your life really that boring g,
@Damon Driver huh? i dont even live in the states.
Pretty sure that he actually researches the cities and states he goes to prior to his show, so he can make his jokes specifically comedic to that region.
It's creative and smart.
I think he learns a lot of it as he visits the place befiore the show
I want everyone to laugh at my jokes as much as Andrew laughs at his own jokes.

I truly appreciate how Andrew slipped effortlessly in and out of Mexican and Jamaican accents while attempting to do a Hawaiian accent.
His pigeon was fr on point
This guy has the greatest gig. He has to write nearly zero material. He just shows up, interacts, and uses his wit. Genius. And not at all easy.
He really did his research for this one. Those Jokes were perfect for Hawaii, I was surprised at how knowledgeable he was of the place.
Seems like pretty basic knowledge for someone who takes one trip to be honest... I visited kauai and figured all this out within the first day. He did a good set I agree
@@greeksdorok yeah right
@@greeksdorok visited Kauai in one day and figured it out? LMAO...impossible
Andrew Shulz is a performer who really likes to get to know his audience, in order to make super-specific jokes that hit hard even though he's playful about it. Some comedians have sets they've worked on for months, some have the ability to make up a set in a few days, but I'm willing to bet he had spent time researching Hawaii and had the skeletons of at least a few jokes built before he ever touched down at the airport. He does a lot of free association with his audience, as well. Very professional, all in all.
G. H. I dig the profile pic tho👍🏽
I love that look Andrew always gets when he’s not entirely sure how the crowd is going to receive his joke. Those jokes are usually my favorite 🖤
😁😁😁
He wasn't sure how the crowd was gonna react to the Micronesian joke lol
@@bigislander72 Yeah but Hawaii in general loves fighting so he held back a lot. You should know.

He gets to a location a couple of days before his performances & tours the local scene & does research on the place, then gets with the jokes on stage. He said it in their "Flagrant 2 podcast". Brilliant approach.
Respect to this man for his hard work getting to know his audience, and his appreciation for the culture. In case you all don't know, Hawaii is a place where if not received well for his comedy, people will literally jump up on that stage and he'd catch hands on site. Looks like they had it under control there, not too many drunk locals, and he knew what to say and how to deliver. Respect!
I’m Micronesian (CHUUKESE) & I wasn’t even offended,

He's not going away any time soon 👍
The way he educates himself on the town he is going to be doing a show in is just impeccable. He just kills the local crowd, or any rando in the crowd. Can't wait to see him live!
This man has found out how to tease people to no end without rubbing them the wrong way. Genius
I've watched so many standup comedians but never seen one of them order a drink for someone in the crowd.
I have seen him do it a good few times!!! Seems like a decent dude
You probably only watch women comedians 😂. If you go to a comedy club and watch a bunch of shows you’ll see it pretty often. Especially when they interact with the person.

honestly that old lady was amazing haha Andrew was pretty savage to her at some points like when he told her to sit the fuck down but you can see she loves him still and laughs at all his jokes. Most boomers would be REALLYY offended haha
Schultz is on a whole other level. He went to Hawaii and researched the culture and the history and did a whole set about it. In time I believe he’ll be on the Rushmore of comedians.

You have brought the stage presence to a whole new level. How you interact with the crowd separates you from everyone else. You don't force it, it seems so authentic. Props 👍
Andrew Shultz seems to have a good heart and ensures he is educated in what he speaks of or learns during his time on stage. No hate behind it.
Its a special craft to be able to male fun of things and not come off as ignorant
right!
Shultz?
Andrew's knowledge of anthropology, sociology, and geography is very strong, and the way he can work it into his comedy, without being insensitive, is hilariously impressive.
The way Andrew engages the crowd is incredible and he kills it every performance.
Its honestly really love how everywhere Schultz goes he learns the culture and you can really see his appreciation of being s student. I guess its really integral to his act but it's really cool.

You have discovered the secret importance of unrestricted expression.
Damn... you know Andrew is a genius when he enters into such a unique culture and place like Hawaii and fucking KILLED it. The fact that he is funnier than most comedians from Hawaii is a testament to his comedic genius.
It's not that crazy unique, similar stuff down around Australia
Had a pretty good time outside of Hawaiians trying to steal shit from us the whole time and dealing with their mental health episodes a couple times throughout the day. Things got better outside of the city, though.
@@sevens8954 Nah man, I'm a haole that lived there for 15 years, got jumped once for being haole, called f***in haole numerous times, but those kind are in the vast minority. Hawaii is beautiful, the people are wonderful, the culture and lifestyle is amazing, I'm sorry you had a bad experience but don't let a few bad apples ruin it, you can find those sort everywhere you go. I really can't blame the actual Hawaiians for feeling some kind of way, they got a really raw deal in the past, but the vast majority of the people there are so welcoming, loving, polite, especially if you see them for who they are and love and respect them also. Anyways, you can probably tell I miss it there lol.
Sorry that Europeans rolled up and made them stop eating each other and doing human sacrifice. If I were a European, I would have felt the same way. And their hatred for outside people hasn’t stopped them from being total welfare queens and enjoying every Japanese, Chinese, American development that’s improved their island or their lives. They’re a bunch of hypocrites.
We ran into some type of pettiness throughout our stay, too. Didn’t matter where we were.
At one point in the parking lot of Chinaman’s Hat, a local was screaming and spitting in the faces of 3 70-80 year old female Japanese tourists that were trying to take pictures. Yelling “get off my land”. It was the most dishonorable thing I have ever seen.
The land is nice. Hawaiians on the other hand need to get a grip.
@@sevens8954 yeah dawg you don’t know anything about the history of Hawaii. You’re just hella racist
“white people and Micronesians are battling it out on the most hated” as a Micronesian, I couldn’t agree more 😂👏🇫🇲
I heard it was Samoans in the 70s
@@KalaniAmosa Samoans, then Filipinos, now Micronesians
Can someone explain this hate he’s talking about? I’m genuinely curious
@@TheIRL The yanks started doing nuclear testing in the Micronesian islands and poisoned some of the islands USA moved many of the Micronesian islanders to Hawaii in large numbers in short space of time many of the Micronesian moving into government projects where there is large numbers of Polynesian Hawaiians, Samoans and Tongans already thus exacerbating tensions between Islander communities
@@TheIRL the other guy gave u the history but pretty much the stereotype is that the micros r dirty or lazy or thieves and shit like that. Pretty much how old white folks view black people on the mainland except it’s acceptable for everyone to hate them. We all need a bit of racism ig cuz there’s no black people here.
That Chinese tourist joke 😂
I got to drive across Australia this year and it's the first time I've visited Uluru and not had to put up with 15 bus loads of people
I’ve wondered how the lack of Asian tourists will affect Kaori dieback in NZ. They go on lots of different bush walks, spreading the fungus further into the ecosystem, killing more kaori. I’m curious if ecologists will do research on how covid impacted that spread, and if it slowed it at all. I get wanting to have sites tourists can visit to bolster an economy, but when they’re contributing to the loss of an iconic native species, allowing these bushwalks without guides or any sort of monitoring of sites should really be reconsidered
And here you can actually see Yellowstone again.
I regretted not having an American flag to to raise after re-capturing old faithful.
it's insane how Asian countries like China view tourism in general. They treat it like a public shool field trip. When we people from Hawaii go on vacation it's 99% of the time to Las Vegas and we know where the fuck we're going ahead of time.
He does everything without stress. Shows how hardworking this man is with what he do
