I kinda like how you find a item called dads note and you start going up levels like hearing something from your dad starts pulling you bk to sanity instead of falling deeper down
If your confident in yourself skip item rooms to get a planetarium and you can go pick up the items on your was back up, if an item room has unknown items due to curse or alt floor that will be revealed on your way back up too
I think I need to start trying this because I'm getting kinda bored with the game and need something to keep me interested instead of constantly playing greed mode for keeper and holy mantle.
if you get bored, i highly recommend trying to get every hard mode mark for all characters. i haven't even gotten close, but it's kept me interested. when i noticed my azazel was nearly 100% complete, i felt like i should get the rest for everyone else considering most other characters i only had 4-5 marks with
Also if you happen to spawn with the glowing hourglass and use it at the very start of your run it will teleport you into the last room you where in which in this case would be isaacs (house) room before he jumped in to escape mom. My lil bro did this with eden and unlocked tainted eden before even killing dead mother. Pretty neat.
Oh, they're tainted cuz they know dad left and mom tried to kill them after a psychotic break, and they're just engaging in the delusion for comfort... that's why they're usually stronger
I just realised that the room where lies the tainted character is the same room from the cover image for the dlc, look and compare, dolly, holy water, honey bottle etc.
Few important notes: Treasure rooms remain in the ascent. So if you missed any during the run you can get it now (also skipping a treasure room during the run increases planetarium chances. Trankets transform if left in any boss room during the run. So I you leave a trinket on floors 1/2 you can use pickups during the ascent. Good luck fighting dogma!

(At least for everyone but me 😭)
Beat mega the lamb and blue baby then go into the alt floors on next run after first boss. Find a white flame walk into it and then fly into a mirror and go to the item room in the mirror to get a knife half, keep going to the next alt floor the mines and click 3 buttons to make a rail take the rail follow the rooms to the next knife piece and take the sacrifice door to mausoleum pretty straightforward from there
@@Swissalamander If you get an angel/devil deal after mom's heart, you are able to go to cathedral/sheol. Beating the floors' bosses 5 times each will unlock you the Polaroid and the Negative that you will get for free after killing mom. You will also be able to access cathedral and sheol after beating mom's heart 11 times without needing a deal with the angel/deal. One last thing is that after your 10th mom's heart kill you will unlock blue womb which you will only be able to get to by beating mom's heart in under 30 minutes, killing it's boss Hush 3 times will unlock the path to the Corpse mom.
Annndddd if you’re playing a tainted character, (And have it unlocked) Inner child will be where the tainted character would be, giving an extra life, and when you die you get smaller :0
That is a lie(kinda)my first tainted character was tainted eden,which i started with glowing hourglass and i wondered what would happen if i used it in the start(this only works for your first character and must be eden(probably)because u need the hourglass).

Not true. If you have the item little baggy it will contain a telepills instead of a fool card ( as little baggy changes all card drops into pills ). Yes I absolutely had to say that...tainted lost run rememberence I accidently got that as a blind shop item ( last shop lots of coins spent them forgot that item existed )
No way you said the best characters 🤣🤣 They are all vastly harder to play than their counterparts, and classify as challenge characters. Except Keeper. Hes built different.

They are essentially different characters, for example with Isaac item pedestals switch between 2 items and you can only have 8 passive items at once
