In this first part we talk about the preparation of the journey and the vehicle, the testings in Scandinavia, and the journey in North America. Canada, the USA and Mexico, a diversity of landscapes like no other.
This serie will also bring us to Central America (part two), and to South America (part three). It is coming up next week! and the following one!

Hi Nick and Mathilde! The CM2 class of 2023-24 is tuning in! We loved the photography. It was so beautiful. Poor Nick... hurting his knee! The bear was one of our favourite parts. Thank you for allowing me join you in your awesome adventures. I must tell you that I would impatiently wait for your weekly updates. I found you through Eva’s channel and couldn’t be more pleased! I haven’t been to France, but I have spent time in Italy and couldn’t think of anything bad to say. It pains me then to hear y’all’s unfortunate comment on the United States. We do have unparalleled scenery and since we’re a large country we have a diverse community. I’d like to apologize for any bad experiences you might’ve encountered while in this Grand country. I may have said this before: I don't know if UNESCO has any kind of film repository or artists' program, but this series belongs there. It is a tremendous gift to show the world to the world.

Subscribed and liked. I was following some of your trips along the Pan America. This footage is brilliantly composed together. The drone images, photos, the music and narrative put together beautifully capturing the journey. Happy for you guys you made the trip. I was planning for the Silk Road with my Landcruiser but may do the Pan America first. Thanks for the inspiration.

Great film and fascinating recap to see the journey so far as a whole. I wonder how it felt to look back on - all that in just 2 years. Amazing. I hadn't realised quite how much you like to pose precariously at the top of very high, steep and precarious-looking cliffs. You get some dramatic drone shots but don't overdo it, we want you to get back home in one piece.
That is a good point. Have you noticed how there are two types of people? The kind attracted by heights and those scared by it? Nick and I definitely and dangerously belong to the first kind for sure ….

@@NextMeridianExpedition After being home for a few weeks, will you be ready to jump on a plane to go off and travel in your limited space Defender? I could see taking a couple month break. Maybe 3-6 to recharge you emotional batteries and be psyched up to do it for another year or so. Can you imagine what the Conquistadors went through emotionally after having experienced S.and Central America and returning home? The big question would have been, do it all again, or stay in Spain where it was safe? Excitement, riches, beauty, vs safety.
