Faith Unfiltered: A conversation with Pastor Brad

In this episode, I had the privilege of interviewing my pastor, Brad Tate, of Agapé City Church in Howell, MI. Brad talks about his upbringing in a small town in Indiana, where he came to find Jesus through a friend. Brad talks about how he went from a mega church to opening his own church in his own community in Howell. Brad goes into more detail about the church philosophy and why it's so important to lead with love.
As the interview progresses, him and I discuss a wide range of topics, from sobriety to faith, to the importance of having a growth mindset, and imposter syndrome. We discussed the importance of memorizing scripture and how doing so can help fight off temptation. Also, we took a deeper dive into how having a more faith-based approach to life can help us have less taste for sin and aid in our lives and sobriety.
