This, honestly, is very mild in comparison to how it usually is! I’m praising God! I think many people were able to hear the gospel and were able to ask our pastors good questions! We love our heckling neighbors and aren’t surprised! That’s who we are without Christ! May God have the glory after our church town meeting and May many neighbors come to Christ and join us!

    Let's see...
The guys on the stage were courteous, respectful, controlled, honest, and unafraid.
The children in the audience were obnoxious, aggressive, dishonest, and clearly desperately fearful.
So who were the bad guys?
Side note...three guesses which two little princes weren't spanked enough as toddlers and, to this day, act out like out-of-control two-year-olds.

Seriously. My 4 year old will sit and listen, even when they’re mad. Lack of emotional and self control is embarrassing to witness for an hour straight.

We need more of this! The love, joy, peace, PATIENCE, KINDNESS, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control displayed by all three of these men was exemplary. I grew up in a charismatic church with a weak foundation, so when my faith was challenged in college it crumbled and I became agnostic/atheist. Praise God for the men in my life who were willing to have reasoned conversations with me when I was a disagreeable atheist. All the interruptions really boil down to an inability to engage with the ideas, but these men did a great job of maintaining focus. Any ‘moral atheist’ willing to wrestle with the answer Doug provides 1:21:04 will not be able to maintain this position, you will either abandon morality or atheism.

Maybe it’s just the people I happened to be raised around, and surround myself with, but it’s crazy to hear adults that must immediately interject against anything they don’t like, constantly.
Every breath one of the speakers took, someone in the crowd (sounded like mainly the same few) had to immediately shout their disagreement.
I don’t know if it’s just the adderal induced anxiety they live with, total lack of any type of emotional control, or that their no-consequence discipline system obviously failed them. But it’s very annoying to listen to.
Is it that hard to sit and listen to things you disagree with? You can’t even control yourself enough to behave like an adult?

There were slave owners who treated their “slaves” like family. In a time when negros couldn’t live independently in society they gave them their own homes on the family estate, had them attend family worship, and even reunited family members by buying for example a husband from another slave owner so that they could live as husband and wife. Spared no expense on doctors for them if they needed it. These were Christian people who lived out the Bible’s teachings of do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Many people chose to continue living with the same people who owned them after they were emancipated because they were treated so well and the quality of their lives was better where they were than on their own in society at that time.

@@LorinPartain while I'm not going to play at being farther right than everyone when i was born yesterday, i really do have legitimate concerns about the impact of college - of any kind - on 💃 and would advise against that, encouraging excellence in sewing, gardening, video editing, apologetics, general editing, flooring, etc - things that make er useful to a spouse. I believe the Bible implicitly forbids sending one's 💃s away from the home for any reason unless ' is living with relatives who are then the immediate authority over er. The damage that schooling does to a 💃 being able to cleave to a 👨 cannot be overstated, it's a distraction as well as a source of pride and independence and tempts to div ce. Over 90% of 💃 filers are degree holders. I would love to see statistics of filers who are also weekly attenders, as a control. But I'm not optimistic.

@@cosmictreason2242 College of any kind? Kids who want to do certain things in life NEED to have a college education, AND not all colleges are the denizens of the devil that many today are. I don't write it all off as you do, but I am very selective.

@@LorinPartain unless they want to be a cardiologist they don't. Living on campus is worse than commuting which is worse than online only but all of it leads to a puffed up false belief that only a man with a similar amount of time wasted in school or similar income level is worthy of her. It will lead her to still be single in her mid 30s, but I'm telling you it's completely avoidable. The woman was made to support the man's mission, not to have her own independent mission. Ask yourself, is your daughter pursuing her own mission or supporting your mission and setting herself up to support the mission of her husband? Not pie in the sky but at this very moment. This is what i meant by independence

Good stuff. I was a little disappointed by the amount of “inside baseball” questions that were fielded. But that’s most likely because I don’t know the nature or wording of the other questions being asked, although I’m sure some of the accusatory ones could have been distilled into a common thread of thought. Otherwise well done as always. Hoping the Lord gives us opportunity for things like this in the future here in West Virginia.
